This reboot of Ghostbusters seemed destined for disaster since it was announced. Initial reviews echoed this and all I heard were negative things. Well, upon watching for myself, I can say that it didn't disappoint, but I went in with a very low bar set. It is a decent film, and I had no issues with it being a female cast. If they further explore this version in a sequel, I think it can be done even better given the proper direction and budget.

Great movie with limited edition packaging, only complaint is it doesnt fit in with those who purchased the originals before the latest release

Not as bad as people were saying. Never gonna beat the OG Ghostbusters, but has potential to get newer generations excited about busting ghosts

Being in my early 40s, I was skeptical of this reboot, but was pleasantly surprised. Great effects and soundtrack make this one a keeper.

This movie is not as good as the first but the more we watch it the more it grows on us. Great to see some of the original actors come back.

I bought this movie for my granddaughter because it was a remake with all women in it. I loved the original movie and this has the same feel.

There's a lot of negativity about this movie, a remake/reboot starring four women. I wanted to like this new Ghostbusters, but unfortunately it is not as good as it could have been.The Ghostbusters themselves are great; but the jokes/comedic scenes fall flat a bit.

I was hesitant to pay over 20 bucks for this movie for the mere fact that this is almost an exact remake of the original Ghostbusters movie. However, when the movie was marked down to $10 I thought I would give it a try and I really enjoyed it and your family will too.

I enjoyed this movie, but my wife loved it. It was good, but the original was far better, but I did enjoy the cameo roles the originals had.

Very funny and entertaining, the extended version is worth it. Does not flow like the original 2, but was safe storytelling and entertaining.

I got this primarily for the 3D blu ray. Saw the movie in the theater in 3D and it was very innovative. Transferred very well to 3D blu ray.

It was a good movie overall. I'm glad they kept it similar to original. Loved the fact they had some original cast pop up in the movie also.

Nice movie remake with cameos from the actors/actress of the original movie. I prefer the original although I had some laughs with this one. I will watch if there would be a sequel. My 7 year old niece love it, and she actually had a Ghostbuster costume last Halloween.

An all female cast is a nice touch to the update to the classic Ghostbuster movies. Nice collectible SteelBook packaging is a plus.

A good remake of the original with cameos of most of the original stars. Had to watch it twice as these bozos can't get this right. This film was in theaters in 4K 3D. The 3D is only on the Blu-ray, not the 4K. My system is 4K 3D come on make the 4K discs in 3D

this movie was very funny. I really like how the incorporated the original cast members in the movie. i especially like the Harold Remis nod.

Ghostbusters is a solid movie. It's funny and genuine. Not as bad as all the critics are saying. Kate McKinnon is the best part....hilarious!

I definitely like the original Ghostbusters movies better, but this one is actually pretty good. I liked it a lot more than I was expecting.

A good twist to the first one bh t there's just something about classics, they're very hard to beat. All in all I didn't mind the movie.

The extended cut includes a lot that should have been in the theatrical cut. That being said, the theatrical cut is funny and entertaining.
