this Ghostbusters movie provides good entertainment but relies too much on special effects and tired story

Ehhhh....Good but not like the originals. Should've made an effort to make a more traditional transition.

I put off watching this one for a long time. I really didn't want to watch it because I was a huge fan of the original. Finally got talked into watching it and I'm glad I did. Funny parts and overall good movie.

Fun movie, love that the effects and ghostbusting gear stayed true to the franchinse and with cameos from all of the original ghostbusters cast. Collectors edition box case is steel and has some pretty stellar art on it.

Great comedy. I was skeptical since the writers clearly flipped the gender roles of the main characters in this film, but it was still great. The story plot worked, along with great action, special effects, and acting.

While I don't generally go for blu-ray copies of new releases, I'm a huge fan of the collectors steelbooks that pop up occasionally. When i saw this I knew i had to have it. Awesome artwork and not a bad price either...

Interesting sequel/reboot. The gender swapping was a good idea. I like the actors. Movie was entertaining.

Movie was very funny and slightly followed the plot of the original. Would recommend as a passable remake.

With this movie you have to look at it as a new movie. You might be disappointed if you try and compare it to the original. As far as movies go, it was hilarious. I think it was great without disrespecting its namesake.

Its hard sometimes to make a remake that comes close to the original. This movie was great at that. Constant humor and amazing visuals. Had to buy it in 4k for the extra effects that need to be seen and cannot be told.

I actually enjoyed this movie and think it is a fun entry in the Ghostbusters franchise

I had high hopes for this movie but it doesn't have the magic of the original movie. In this one I barely laughed and it didn't have a good story. The special effects were OK but nothing you have seen before. I wouldn't recommend this one to buy new. Wait till a used copy is available and buy that. The movie was a let down and not what I was expecting. 3 stars.

Order was delivered fast and it was a funny film, slightly different take from the original.

Not near as good as orginal. But the 3d affects was really great. I would put in my top 20 for 3d.

I liked this Ghostbusters as a movie on it's own and not basing it off of the originals. Had it's laughs.
