I skipped this movie when it was in theaters, but decided to buy the DVD, mainly intrigued by trailers I had seen when watching other movies. I also knew the movie had been panned on the internet and was even the cause of some negative feedback on social media to some of the cast. Well, the disk performed as expected, it played all of it's content, so from that viewpoint, I would have given it 5 stars. However, the movie did not meet my expectations for entertainment, and I wish I had seen it in the theater because it would have been cheaper than buying the DVD.

I love this remake of this movie. The actors did a great job and love the cameos they brought in.

The movie isn't as good as it should have been but it's also not as bad as people say it was. Either way, I picked it up to complete the stylized Ghostbusters steelbook set. It's a beauty.

Not as good as the first two Ghostbusters, but the great cast makes you watch it again and again.

As a fan of the original, I was worried about this remake. But all 4 ladies did a wonderful job!

My wife and 5 year old loved this movie. Really funny and almost as good as the original movie.

My daughter loves this movie and I’m glad she has female lead roles to connect with.

I didn't listen to the naysayers who said it was terrible, but I guess I should have. The cast was so good I had to see it for myself. Anything negative I have to say would give away parts of it, so I will leave it at that. Special FX are good, the cast is great, but the story and writing is HORRIBLE. So sadly disappointed.

Huge fan of the original ghostbusters wasen't so excited to hear about a reboot and all female roles. gave it a try and it wasen't as bad as i thought it was going to be. I recommed to watch enjoy

This movie was only mildly entertaining. I had hoped that this re-make using an all female cast and the incredibly gorgeous Chris Hemsworth would be more funny. The graphics and ghosts were good.

This was a so much better than I imagined. I actually laughed out loud at times. I recommend it.

It was hilarious!! It will never be like the original but it is great! We were not disappointed.

I say that it's not kid-friendly because there are some middle finger gestures and there are some crude comments now if you're one that doesn't care it's a great movie but I was convicted on it..
