This is a gift and not for me! I would never buy this drivel for me! But, my Aunt wanted this, and since I got her a blu ray player (she just got an HD TV last month), I felt she needed at least one movie, and so it makes sense to get her one she wanted!

What a monumental disappointment. Except for the fun of catching the cameos of originals from the first Ghostbusters film, there is nothing to redeem this lame remake of a classic. Can't figure how the powers that be couldn't see this one for what it was.

The actresses are all funny, but the material is not. The cameos from the original cast are forced. I was expecting better.

Quite surprised to say I was very disappointed. Fan of the original films, has a solid cast that I've enjoyed in many other movies, but nothing about the movie stuck me funny. Must just be me though because a number of my friends found it hilarious.

Funny movie but when I got the movie it didn't have the digital copy with it. Called Best Buy and was told they would send the RA so I could send it back and they would send a new copy of the movie. That was Oct and I'm still waiting for it

Here we go. I tried to give this movie a chance. I picked it up and it just didn't work for me. I think the director told the actresses to speak the scripted line and then throw in a joke afterward. And there are a ton of them. The problem is that the jokes aren't funny. I give them credit to give us another Ghostbuster movie but it just didn't work. It didn't matter if it was an all female cast, an all male cast or a unisex cast. The story and script were just terrible. I can say that the 3D is good though.

Disappointing remake on many levels. Great cast and great director but over-long, unfunny mess. The gag reels are the best parts and show how editing ruined much of the humor. Kate is hilarious but she is nowhere in the movie.

I still believe the special effects from the original 2 movies was better, but this was the best I could think of when it came to this pile of garbage!

I bought this movie because it looked like it would be funny when I saw the previews. Boy, was I wrong. Very boring. I'm giving it 2 stars as opposed to 1 because the 4K video quality was pretty good. Definitely skip it.

I wanted to like this movie. After all, it has Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon. Unfortunately it also has Mellisa McCarthy. How it managed to waste McKinnon and Jones, I will never know. It's unfunny, gross and has way many loud explosions which don't do their assigned job of covering for a real stinker of a script.

I fell asleep the first time I watched it. Second time I watched it to the end but was not impressed. There was some funny parts but not enough to watch it again. Should've waited for it to come out on cable.

I ignored the complaints I'd heard regarding this movie and decided I'd give it a chance. I should have listened to the negative reactions. Not funny, and overall just not good. Watch the original instead.
