Sometimes you just can't top the original movies. Some movies do NOT need a reboot, and apparently this movie proves that Ghostbusters is one of them.

Bought for my son. He really only skips to the end to watch the final battle. He prefers the original movie but likes this compared to the 2nd.

I was not impressed at all with 4k movie quality and even less impressed with a classic remake. Better off buying Blu Ray for a more vibrant picture

It aims to be a good family film for the summer movie season, and it fits right in with the buttery popcorn I ate while watching it.

Was disappointed in this movie - could have been much better. It was very poorly written and acted. Most of the dialogue was horrible. Special effects were great which is why I gave it two stars.

This was entertaining but painful to get through. I was expecting something more in line with the original and it just did not stand up. I was expecting a comedy but this just fell short.

Not as good as the originals. It seems like I was watching one long commercial for every advertiser they could get to fund the movie.

i was disappointed with this movie. couldn't get into the characters at all. no real plot, just a lot of attempts at funny lines that mostly fell flat and did not blend together well.

Very boring, doesn't continue with first movie but easily could have (had old characters in the movie). Acting was very infantile.

I tried to watch this with an open mind. Shortly into it my mind closed. They tried to make a good movie, but with an all female cast and Chris Hemsworth the best character; very sad

The only good thing about this movie is the cameo. I'm a woman so I don't feel bad saying that a female lineup was a terrible idea. Or maybe just the actors they chose. Completely obnoxious. Chris Helmsford's character takes stupid to an institutional level, and Kristin Wiig fawning over him in overzealous spoofing of stereotypes that are completely annoying. Melissa McCarthy is refreshing but not enough to save this wreck of a film. One star because my 6 year old liked it. Though the language was not appropriate for him at all.

OMG this movie is awful, Harold Ramis (RIP) must be turning in his grave. Why did they remake one of the greatest movies of the 80's?

The kids liked it well enough... but they like most silly movies anyway. This one just doesn't have a lot of redeeming qualities - and certainly doesn't compare to the original.

this was tough to watch - not good. Kids wanted it, and I watched, the three women in the movie are horrible - can't act and the script is boring. Go get the first Ghostbusters.

The actors had chemistry but the story made no sense and for all the hipe same old stereotypical jokes. Good 3d and cgi

Like the movie bought it for my son, we try to buy movies with digital copies as we use our Apple TV as the main source of tv watching. With most older movies ill occasionally run into the digital copy not validating with iTunes. But noting in the last year, except this movie. The digital copy is only for Ultra Violet, which is incompatible with iTunes and the Apple TV as there is no Apple TV all for Ultra Violet movies. Incrediblely disappointed and won't buy another movie from Sony this is an option.

this is really honesty a stupid movie but I just bought this for the 4k picture I would not recommend to any of my friends

I think I love the originals way too much to have gave this movie a fair chance but I was not a huge fan.

Not as good as the originals, a bit funny and cute. (and I have the originals, but this feels a bit off, like they were trying to hard to mimic the original...)

I should have read the reviews first. I was hoping it would be a extension from the original movie but they re-done the same script with poor acting. As far the comedy, I didn't even laugh once. I was bored with it since I have seen the original. What a disappointment.
