This remake was funny and I really like the women spin on a great comedy. In addition, I love the way this movie paid respect to all of the original cast members including the late Harold Ramis.

My wife and I enjoyed Ghostbusters. Now if you are going in thinking it's going to be the same as the original, it's not. It's good, but not as funny as the original, but it does have more action.

This version of Ghostbusters is great. It's different from the original which I was kind of afraid about at first but loved it. If you want this to be exactly like the first one, then this is not the movie for you. It is similar in ways but it's different and it's more of a comedy instead of a scary movie.

I haven't even watched the movie yet, this rating is strictly based on the steelbook and content. the steelbook is very nice, a heavy, thick steelbook with great artwork that matches the steelbook re-releases of the original 2 movies. i was however disappointed to discover today after redeeming my digital copy that it is in fact ony hdx and not uhd. odd, and disappointing.

Come to this movie with fresh eyes. My parents who love the original, couldn't look past that this was an attempt at a remake of the original, and hated it. However, we love Kristin Wiig, and Kate McKinnon and were excited to see their version, and it was hilarious!

This one of those movies that you miss a lot of in the theater and deserves viewing at home. The 3D just pops off the screen and all those scary moments can be viewed in detail - Lots of rewindable moments make this a real home viewing treat...

Super fun to watch - Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones are hysterical - no disrespect to the original here.

The bar is simply set too high, the original is my all-time favorite movie, that said, I still enjoyed it.

I love the original for sure, but this movie is funny and I liked it a lot. There was to much hate towards it so that is why I was hesitant to buy it, but I actually liked it a lot. Also the 4k quality is really good

Don't pay attention to the critics, the movie is still funny and very comical and even though it doesn't follow up with the original movie, its still great. Kudos Sony.

This is by far not the worst movie that has ever been made. Nor is there any reason to level over exaggerated claims like, "It ruined my childhood!" What it is however is a bland, barely funny, poorly conceived, typical by the numbers Hollywood cash in. Save your money and wait a couple of months and catch it on TV for free. It will most likely help you enjoy it a little more not having paid for it.

The original can not be beat, but the new version offers a great fresh modern look that is fun to watch, its funny and has alot of suprises in it that I enjoyed

I love this movie, I've watched both the unrated and the theater edition over and over. I can say without anything bad it was a wonderful update.

Loved this movie! Not as memorable as the original
