The steelbook design is fantastic and looks really nice! The movie itself is fun for fans of the original Ghostbusters and new-comers alike.

The funniest segment is the finale!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And that wasn't even the part that was horrible about it. The storyline involved the originals but they all had different names ... no passing the torch and that still wasn't the worst part. The worst part was the type casting and over use of stereotypes ... the ditzy blond was Chris Hemsworth the overboostress black lady Leslie Jones and I could go on it was really just offensive in compassion to the originals where there was a real sense of team and everyone was a required cog instead the 4th and 5th members were total afterthoughts. The whole thing was so muddled I didn't laugh until after the credits.

I'm so glad they finally re made Ghostbusters. The all girls part was different but definitely worked.

I really enjoyed the original movies. Remakes always seem to lose something from the originals and this is no different. It's not a bad movie but I would watch it on Netflix before buying it

The 2016 Ghostbusters reboot is wonderful and funny. The 3D at home makes it even better.

I love ghost buster nd especially with the female version even better.

love the extra 3D part of the movie watch it in 3D eye popping effects

4k visuals really pop! Nice that it comes with 3d, 4k and blu ray!

Loved the original Ghostbusters and bought this last Friday even though I've read reviews of people saying it's bad. I like to judge for myself and like a genius, instead of renting, I decided to buy it. Boy, what a mistake. This movie is an abomination and completely destroys what I consider to be one of the classic ghost movies from the 80's. The main characters are horrible and you can tell that they just don't belong together in a group. There is absolutely no chemistry between them and the laughs that this movie goes for, are completely forced. If you like forced jokes and a story that tries to borrow from the original (spoiler: IT FAILS MISERABLY) then go ahead and watch it but for people who actually enjoy good movies, stay away from this garbage. If you still want to buy, I have a copy I am willing to let go for cheap.

This movie was funny, an ok story, great cast. but you can't beat the original on this one.

Bad movie, and a chick flick. Watch with no expectations. Since this movie made me laugh AT the movie a few times, I think it genuinely fulfilled its purpose since its genre is a comedy. The original was not really a comedy, thats why it did not create laughs. SUPERB HDR on my oled, AND THE 3D is jaw dropping, which ads the 2nd star in rating.

Before this film reached theaters, I had heard banter from all sides. The sexists were quick to bash the female cast, the feminists were quick to bash anyone that didn't like the film, the contrarians were waiting to see which side won, so they could cheer for the underdog, and the trolls were trolling all sides for a good laugh. ...and then there was me. I just want to see good films when I have free time. So with an open mind, hopeful that I would enjoy the film, I purchased my ticket, and proceeded upward and onward. I won't go into a long diatribe, but I will cover a few points. The film wasn't great, in fact, the writing was pretty bad, and many of the jokes fell flat. The comedy that worked was simply the natural gift of humor possessed by the female cast. Somethings were ridiculous, and not the entertaining kind, such as Hemsworth's character. In the end, the film was ado about nothing.

Regardless of the fact the original Ghostbusters is a classic film that should never of been rebooted or remade during our lifetimes (with women, men, or any mix of gender), this new remake still stands as one of the worst films I've ever seen. The humor is flat out unfunny, the effects look worse than the original as if they were pulled straight of a Scooby-Doo straight to video release, and the entire tone is completely off for a Ghostbusters film. Furthermore, the editing is dreadful and the entire film is choppy with no flow. The remake captures none of the charm, chemistry or magic of what made the original such an iconic part of our pop-culture. I'd rather have a root canal than choose to watch this piece of Hollywood garbage again. If I could have given it a zero I would have, but sadly 1 is the minimum on this scale. Stay away unless you are a glutton for punishment.
