And at the end ou get to watch something that couldve been so much more but ended up being a bunch of forced laugh scenes. That about sums it up.

This movie's about as funny as watching grass grow

If you took a dump in your Blu-Ray player the result would be more entertaining than this awful snoozefest that was basically a cash grab that failed miserably. I guess it would be a worthy purchase if you had company over and didn't want to be rude by telling them to leave. Just throw this on and all the work is done for you. Rinse your eyes with bleach after watching this.

Nothing beats the original, but give it a chance

By far the worst remake of any 80's classic yet

The pacing was wrong, the acting was unfunny, the jokes leave one cringing let alone smiling, and the effects looked less convincing than even the originals. Possibly worst of all, the cameos by the cast of the original movies seemed tedious and just plain phoned-in. Especially Bill Murray's cameo, he just genuinely seemed like he hated being there.
