1. Now and then there is a touch of video noise (grain), but that can be expected from a movie as old as this. 2. HDR popped pretty good. 3. 4K shows the age of the special effects at times. However with all this in mind, I still recommend the 4K version if you have a 4K player and TV with HDR

This is still the best of all the Ghostbusters films. It set the stage and gave us a great new world to enjoy. The quality is outstanding and the sound is great! Loved this BR disk.

I picked this up along with the second one after seeing the abyssmal remake. I personally love the art on this one more than the second movie, and the release is choc-full of special features to keep you busy well past the initial movie release. The only problem is the UV digital movie code included is NOT for the correct movie, instead you will be given a Ghostbusters II redemption code. A quick search reveals this seems to be the case for everyone. Some have had luck getting the correct movie, but most wind up playing phone tag between UV, Sony, and Best Buy with nothing to show. If you don't care about the digital snafu, this is a great release.

Still an excellent and entertaining movie. Replace my vhs with the dvd cause it is one of our more excellent movies.

A great movie. I have all four Ghostbuster movies, three in 4k. The third movie wasn't that good.

Same great movie now improved to show amazing clarity and jaw dropping effects. Those with 4k Blu-ray players and a compatible UHD TV will love this classic in its updated format.

This is how Spider-Man should have been from the beginning. Tom Holland portrays the "friendly, neighborhood Spider-Man" perfectly. The steelbook packaging is cool too.

This comedy classic is a most own for any cinephile. Four scientists battle the undead in New York City. Bill Murray and Dan Ackroyd are at their comedic best.

I never liked this movie. As a kid, I though it was boring and dumb. As an adult, I gave it another try and I'm glad I did! This movie is hilarious with some great one-liners! Love it!

30 years after release, Ghostbusters remains one of the best comedies ever and a movie that is easy to enjoy on repeat viewings. Hope the new movie can live up to this comedy classic.

Great classic with a beautiful steelbook it has a nice grain tone to it

Whether you're wanting to see the original Ghostbusters to compare to the new one, or if you're just wanting to go back to the classic, this movie does it. Looks great in Blu-Ray.

One of the Classics, you can not beat the original Bill Murray will always reign King of comedy in the 80's. One of my favs, and also with the steelbook how can you pass it up

What can one tell you about this wonderful classic that you don't already know. That's right,nothing. The BD looks fine and the steelbook edition is nice.

What a great cast! They all work together so well. Classic comedy from "back in the day." This one will never get old! Definite boon to add to my movie collection!

The original Ghostbusters is a classic and the steelbook edition is a great compliment to the blu-ray version. It comes with a digital copy code but when you try to redeem it, the code is for Ghostbusters II. I just emailed sony and was able to get a code for Ghostbusters.

Excellent movie that looks great in 4K! Anyone who likes this movie will love it in this format!

Ghostbusters in blu ray is awesome! Watched it with the kids for the first time and they loved it. Slimer was more colorful than ever before. Would highly recommend getting this blu ray!

This Franchise is one of the many Franchises of the 80s that my kids love as much as I do!!
