Best Buy is a great place to shop. So this review reflects nothing on Best Buy. This review is only a critique of the fake 4K “remaster”. The movie Ghostbusters is an absolute classic, so this review has not to do with the quality of the story or style of this film. The quality of the remastering is in question. The BluRay remaster included with this 4K edition is fantastic. The 4K “remaster” in this edition is horrible. The 4K transfer of Ghostbusters is basically an accentuation of every error in the original film. Instead of actually remastering this film to 4K, they remastered it to expose every grain of the original film. It’s a grainy mess and the sound quality is extremely lacking. The only redeeming aspect of this 4K “remaster” set is the standard 1080p BluRay Disc included with the 4K. The BluRay is a fantastic upgrade to the film both in video and audio quality, and the only reason I’m giving this 2 stars. If the BluRay hadn’t been included, I would have found a way to give this -5 stars.

The steelbook is fantastic! The artwork looks great and the movie isn't too bad either!

A timeless classic for people that grew up in the 1980s. Now in hi-resolution! (My favorite movie of 1984, and by today's standards, relatively clean, so the whole family can watch.)

Watched recently with my family and enjoyed watching their reaction to the movie. Of course they loved the marshmallow man and kept asking why they had to blow him up since he was so cute.

Great story with wonderful acting and an original story line. Good mix of comedy and action.
