I've always love the Ghostbusters! Fantastic movie from my childhood! Funny and action packed. I like this one better than the new one that came out this summer! Decent upgrade in 4K too!

They don't make movies like this anymore so if you have to deal with a bit of grain...so be it. The movie is fantastic.

This was a no brainer for me. I've always liked this movie. And when I saw it in the steelbook packaging,I just had to have it. The art is great inside and out. Very happy with my purchase.

Hey! Its a movie! More importantly, a classic called Ghostbusters! Cannot go wrong with this great movie with some awesome stars!

Everyone knows or should know about the original GB movie. This is a must have for any collection. My personal favorite artist told hold of the cover art on this one, absolutely beautiful!

I must buy for any physical media collector. Look so much better than when I watched it on VHS.

Was a good movie 4k was better than blue ray but did not come with digital code looks like movie was repacked

Ghostbusters is classic, it’s funny and one of my all time favorites. Imagine my surprise when I downloaded to digital copy it was Ghostbusters 2. Discs were right digital code was for the wrong movie. That the only reason this doesn’t get 5 Stars.

Classic movie. Was supposed to have a digital copy of the movie but instead the digital copy was Ghostbusters 2. No complaints.

One of my all-time favorite movies. The cast is unmatched. So sad that Harold Ramis is not here anymore to complete the series. An all-American classic movie that should not be missed by young or old.

Love this movie, for real. Steelbook art is fantastic and quality of the movie meets my expectations for it being an 80s movie.

Ghostbuster may just be one of the greatest films ever made, so I'm glad to see it got fantastic treatment from Sony for this release.

Was really excited to see this movie in 4k on my OLED setup w/surround sound. Was impressed at the detail and HDR but I have to say that the picture carries A LOT of graininess. Probably one of the worst I have seen. Its a shame because at 4k resolution you can really see a lot more detail

This movie always brings back memories each time I watch it. It is so good.

My boyfriend has always compared me to the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. So I giggle whenever I watch the ending. The acting is great. Dan Akroyd and Bill Murray are amazing.

1. Now and then there is a touch of video noise (grain), but that can be expected from a movie as old as this. 2. HDR popped pretty good. 3. 4K shows the age of the special effects at times. However with all this in mind, I still recommend the 4K version if you have a 4K player and TV with HDR

This is still the best of all the Ghostbusters films. It set the stage and gave us a great new world to enjoy. The quality is outstanding and the sound is great! Loved this BR disk.

I picked this up along with the second one after seeing the abyssmal remake. I personally love the art on this one more than the second movie, and the release is choc-full of special features to keep you busy well past the initial movie release. The only problem is the UV digital movie code included is NOT for the correct movie, instead you will be given a Ghostbusters II redemption code. A quick search reveals this seems to be the case for everyone. Some have had luck getting the correct movie, but most wind up playing phone tag between UV, Sony, and Best Buy with nothing to show. If you don't care about the digital snafu, this is a great release.
