Another affordable upgrade if you're put off by the jump in price of going with something higher end. Low power draw, too. This one is in a system with a Corsair 600w PSU and does moderate gaming.

It’s great for the money! I wouldn’t give it 5 star performance but it’s definitely worth the $300

Bought this card as wanted 4060 for my DIY i7 14700K desktop build. Works great!! Would have liked it in white, but did not want to pay $200 more. Besides ended up with black Tomahawk motherboard for 14th gen CPU, so basically black and white build. Still looks good.

This is my first time upgrading my gpu and the 4060 I think was a great choice for me because it’ll last me for quite a while. So far I’ve really enjoyed gaming with it.

Going from my 3060 ti to a slightly better series I'm finding it so far not too bad and holding up with my 4 32gb Ram sticks and and R7.

Bought in December 2023 to further my sim racing experience. It was fine up until I started using a quest 2 to drive and the game crashed every time no matter what I did over the months it wouldn’t work. until I threw my old 1060 back in and it works fine now. From what I read and my experience this gpu isn’t worth it.

Got an open box unit for $275, which puts this at a pretty decent value. I'm using it on an external GPU dock for my home office setup. Its low power requirements and very quite operation is nice. Especially since it's an open dock with the card just a few feet away. You really have to have your ear up to it with high FPS to hear any coil whine.
I can't judge its total performance since I'm locked to just 4 lanes of PCI 3.0 but it does pretty good still. I was able to get 62 FPS average on Unigine Valley benchmark at 1440p Ultra settings.
I also like this card has 2x HDMI ports. Less finnicky than displayport for my dual monitors.
Uses a normal PCIe 8-pin connector, which is a plus for me.
My only complaint is of course the 8GB, would be nice to have 10GB at this price. But that's nVidia for you.
I'd still say get it if you're on a budget especially open box.

Great card all the way around! Was able to play games like cyberpunk 2077 on ultra with over 60 fps! Great performance, and surprisingly easy to use with the Nvidia app! Great upgrade if you bought a prebuilt with an older graphics cards! The DLSS frature introduced really gave a big performance while still running at higher graphics!

GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 4060!

I love my new GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 4060!
It's been the perfect upgrade for my gaming setup, especially with my 49-inch Samsung ultrawide monitor.
Games look absolutely stunning at 1080p, and I'm getting super smooth frame rates – usually 60+ FPS on high or ultra settings. Even better, the DLSS 3 support gives me an extra boost without sacrificing any image quality.
I was also really impressed with how quiet and cool this card runs. Even when I'm in the middle of an intense gaming session, I never hear the fans or worry about it overheating.
Plus, it's compact and fits perfectly in my mid-tower case. The sleek black design with a subtle RGB touch looks fantastic in my setup.
Overall, I'm extremely happy with this card. It's an excellent value for the performance it delivers, and it's perfect for anyone looking to get into 1080p ultrawide gaming.
The only thing to keep in mind is the 8GB VRAM, which might limit performance in some really demanding games at higher resolutions. But for me, it's been perfect so far!

Every review on youtube trashes this card, but I bought it anyway. Happy I did. I only needed a card that can push 100 fps in 1440p for my curved wide monitor in Asseto corsa. My sim rig monitor maxes out at 100 fps. I can also play COD on my 1080 flat panel 27 inch at around 125/130 fps with this card paired with an old Intel i5 8400 6 core cpu. For 300 bucks this thing is great. Drivers are way more stable than the amd card it replaced. Temps not as good as my 4070 founders edition in my other pc, but not too toasty and it stays quiet! Feel good about this purchase.

GIGABYTE RTX 4060 WINDFORCE OC Review

A well-rounded GPU for budget-conscious gamers. The RTX 4060 is strong enough for high settings in most games at 1080p. The WINDFORCE OC cooling keeps it running quietly. It's easy to install, and overclocking is simple, but don’t expect it to be a 4K powerhouse—it’s best for mid-range setups.

Pretty sure this thing is for a mini or SFF case, but it fits in my mid size just fine and it works like a charm. Had my 3060 on standby just in case the little thing overheated or had a stroke but I've been using this for about two weeks now and it's doing great. Bought it for less than I bought my 3060 ti for and it's got the same performance if not slightly better. I will say most of the 40 series are not worth it but this one definitely is.
