Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti's performance, cooling capabilities, and quiet operation, frequently citing high frame rates and ease of installation. However, some customers note the card's large size and high price as drawbacks. The RGB lighting features also received mixed reviews. While many appreciate the improved performance in games and various resolutions, the power consumption was a concern for some users.

Card died just beyond two months old - boots into a low-power mode and will not play games in this state, if it boots at all. GIGABYTE approved an RMA on this but it could take over a week in transit each way, plus their processing time when they receive it, faster options and advance replacement are not available. Strongly advise considering another brand. Before purchasing any card of this series, make sure it will fit in your case, as it is quite large and long. If it does, make sure you also have good support for the card so it doesn't sag and bend over time. These days we build PCs around the GPU,

Have a custom loop core p5 case had to redo cooling loops and relocate Reservoir to get it to get it to fit then have graphical issues that 3060 didnt have. Found out about high failure rate due to pcb design at port and that no warranty through BBY is available.

Gigabyte made my last video card, a 1080. That card is still going strong and can handle all the latest games, perhaps without bells and whistles, but its a testament to the design of the card just how its going strong since 2016. That being said, the 4070ti is a beast of a card. Too much so. The new power connection will give some people fits, sadly. The card worked GREAT for 2 weeks, and I was able to have ray tracing and all the new Cyberpunk whistles cranked up to really see the world explode the way it should with the proper graphics card. Sadly, out of the blue, the computer refused to post. Disconnect the power cable to troubleshoot, and we were able to boot up just fine. I even went out and bought a new MSI power supply with a dedicated Nvidia 4 series power cable. Nada. I cranked down the bios settings to PCI 3. Nada. Its maddening, because the card worked, and then it didn't. In the end, Gigabyte offered me a RMA, but I decided I had wasted enough time, trouble, and seeing other peoples stories of sadness, decided that I would wait for another time. Never had a card work so well and then...not. I went with an AMD instead, and while the fps isn't as high, and the visual effects on some games not as pronounced, at least it works. And reliably so. Sorry Gigabyte and Nvidia, I loved you and what you had to show me, I just wish it lasted longer, especially considering the price of the card. And to those wondering, no it wasn't the PSU. It wasn't the motherboard, or a bad PCI-E slot. It wasn't the drivers. It was...just not ready to be in my world, apparently.

Purchased something that you immediately regret? Yes, that is what happened to me after purchasing an open-box item from Best Buy. There were nothing but problems with returning it for a refund. I actually had to return the GPU to the original store because, regardless of BB's claim that a person could return items to any location, not one location that I visited would allow me to exchange or get a refund. Whoever signed off on the GPU more than likely did not test it. That isn't to say that I didn't learn anything. I did. I learned the reason I stopped making purchases at BB 4 years ago was for good reason. What happened then? I purchased a Dell G7 7700 and tried returning it to the same location on the same day, but was told that I couldn't because I had upgraded the hard drive and RAM. It was returned because the laptop PC would overheat.
