I decided to upgrade from a 3090ti as that card still holds its value really well and sold fairly quickly. So thankfully for me upgrading didnt cost me much overall. I really wanted to take advantge of new tech in the 40 series lineup like frame generation. The graphic AI tech seems to be the direction gpus are going in the future so this card is a great starting point. I have been very impressed so far and looking forward to seeing what it can do.

Keeping it simple here, this card is not worth the money you put into it. Has artifacts popping up randomly, DLSS is the only way to get near 120-144 FPS, native FPS sucks. 1080 Ti in comparison still is efficient today!

If you have a 4080 and thinking of upgrading, Dont. Theres only like 3% difference in performance. But the price is definitely unbeatable. Im giving 4 stars because i originally had a founders 4080 expecting a huge upgrade but boy was i wrong

Good graphics card but bulky. The employee that helped me pick it out said it would fit in my case, but it did not. So I have an ITX build that’s dead in the water till I can afford to buy a smaller card. I’ll add a picture of the card in my current pc. Also I gave ease of use 3/5 stars because I had to buy a cable for it.

Gpu was literally crushed in the box. Had to drive all the way back to return it, then had to rebuy it later for an extra $50 because Best Buy has increased the price in the last week.

**Impressive Performance and Value – Gigabyte 4080 Super NVIDIA RTX** I've had the opportunity to test the Gigabyte 4080 Super NVIDIA RTX graphics card, and I’m thoroughly impressed by its performance. Whether you're a gamer or a content creator, this GPU delivers top-tier power, offering an incredible leap in visual fidelity and overall performance compared to its predecessors. **Unmatched Gaming Experience:** The 4080 Super excels in demanding games, running titles like *Cyberpunk 2077*, *Assassin's Creed Valhalla*, and *Starfield* at ultra settings with smooth frame rates, even at 4K resolution. The RTX 4080 Super’s ray-tracing and DLSS technology bring visuals to life with stunning realism, providing an immersive experience like never before. Frame drops are virtually non-existent, and you can enjoy hours of gameplay with minimal throttling. **Outstanding Cooling and Build Quality:** Gigabyte’s cooling system is excellent. The triple-fan design ensures that the card stays cool even under heavy load, maintaining optimal performance. The build quality feels robust, and the card itself has a premium look with a sleek design, making it a worthy addition to any high-end PC build. The RGB lighting adds a nice touch, though it’s subtle enough to not overpower the overall aesthetic. **Future-Proofing Your Rig:** With 16GB of GDDR6X memory, the RTX 4080 Super is more than capable of handling the most demanding tasks in 2024 and beyond. It's perfect for 4K gaming, VR, and intensive applications like 3D rendering or video editing. If you're looking to future-proof your rig, this card should be high on your list. **Power Efficiency:** Despite its immense power, the RTX 4080 Super offers impressive power efficiency, drawing less power than some of the older-generation high-end cards while delivering a superior performance output. **Final Thoughts:** Overall, the Gigabyte 4080 Super NVIDIA RTX is a fantastic investment for anyone who demands the best in performance. Whether you’re gaming, creating content, or simply looking to maximize your system's potential, this graphics card won’t disappoint. It's a stellar blend of raw power, efficiency, and reliability, setting a new standard for next-gen GPUs.

It's big but it's beautiful. I had a 3080 that wasn't ideal for 4k gaming. The 4080 Super is a nice upgrade. I get really good frame rates for the majority of games i play in 4k. The heatsink / fans do a great job of keeping the GPU cool, when idle the fans for the GPU do not usually come on, another sign that this GPU is properly designed.

Too start with, Im still torn about keeping this card but im past returnable date to get my money back. I spent the first week dealing with glitches, freezes, shutdowns, and stutters. It was everything, but it was frequent enough to be a pain, and the performance was underwhelming. My games that play are: Battlefield 2042 Battlefield 1 Genshin impact Cyberpunk 2077 New world **Many more Some things were too bright while others extremely dark as if the contrast was maxxed out. My FPS were well below what i was seeing from reviews and articles that i was reading. Eventually, i purchased an AMD 7900 XTX to replace it with what debated heavily over for some time. Both cards are basically the same performance and price range just a variation in preference. In the days waiting for it to arrive i decided to go through everything again and see if i could weed the issues, because it was stalling on my desktop as well. Turns out it was GIGABYTE's software!! I downloaded the vanilla nvidia geforce experience software and removed GIGABYTE's software. Since then it has run smoothly at maxed out settings on most all my games. FPS is running in high range of the reports/reviews that ive read. I returned the 7900 xtx (i wonder often if i should have at least tried it to cure my itch). Currently my 2 tracked fps games are -Battlefield 2042 which is averaging around 100 FPS at 4k with most settings on ultra, a few unnecessary things turned down because of pvp fps undergrowth disadvantages. I had to turn ray tracing off because it did cause performance issues at this resolution on this game. -Cyberpunk 2077 runs great. All settings maxed at highest settings, 4k, ray tracing on still pulling around 115 fps. I will say after a few hours of playing, i do notice some stutters, and temps are staying below 60C with the amount of air i have blowing through. Overall i do really like this card, but i do wonder if i made the right choice. I also know that if i had bought the 7900 xtx to start with, id be questioning myself about whether i should have bought this card instead.

Works Amazing and most importantly stays really cool while gaming ! Huge upgrade from an RTX 3080 remember plug it in with 3 separate power cables running from power supply dont use just two cables with the splitter ends it needs all the separate cables for full power to plug into its adapter. Also it is really big so mini cases probably wont fit it at all you need a good mid to full size tower for this one. Highly recommend this card is worth it for price to performance!

It's a sick card for sick people. It works wonders and plays every modern and old games maxed settings,2k or 4k over 60fps. That's awesome! Only gripe I had was the 12v connector that came with card Was broken and I could not use GPU for a week until I bought a replacement. I did try to use gigabytes support to get a replacement, but they did not respond on a timely matter and still haven't sent me a replacement I've practically begged for. Only reason it's not 5 stars. Crummy support

Got this card because my set up has both a 2k high refresh monitor and 4k TV. So, wanted flexibility and power that would last me for a good while. Thus far it hasn't disappointed at all, though my value is likely skewed since I bought open-box for a little below MSRP on a standard 4080 Super. Easily clears 144fps on games like Starfield with max settings and DLSS 3, and even Red Dead Redemption II sits between 70-90 fps at 4k with ALL the settings turned up. Does the value beat the likes of 4060 or 4070Ti Super? Probably not, but 10-15% gains over the later is worth it for me, personally
