Performance is great, but at what cost?

The only reason I bought this was because of needing to play VR, in DCS. If I was only playing on a typical 1440p or 4k monitor, 100% go to any other card than this. AMD brings the value, I upgraded from a 6900xt and if I were just sticking to 2d @ 4k, that would have been enough for the foreseeable future. Don't buy this unless you need to do VR.

Came DOA, but card is solid when works.

I have another one of these and was buying this for a second rig, so can confirm when it works, the card itself is solid. Buy it locally if possible so you don't have to deal with returns! I decided not to buy a second one and will buy a 4080 instead.

I saved about 400$ and the only thing missing was the pcie adapter. Which wasn't too much of an issue since I planned on ordering a right angle anyway.
