seriously what is wrong with out if you havent seen it yet?? the rotten tomato score is way out and not even close to how perfect and great this movie is! joaquin phoenix is PHENOMENAL met going to give away anything from the movie but it is definitely a must watch for any movie fan

My favorite Film of all time, over 20 years old and still holds up. Russell Crowe in his Prime, young and evil Joaquin Phoenix and of course the Late Great Richard Harris. I have a SONY ULTRA HD DVD and collecting all my favorites in this format.

Picture quality from the 4K disc is excellent. Dolby Vision really adds to the overall experience compared to 1080p BluRay. DTS:X audio track is also excellent and adds immersion to the viewing experience. This is a must have for your 4K movie collection.

i had this movie on vhs years ago and I love the fact it came out on 4k blu ray. after watching on my oled tv, the color and sound is really good. it is not perfect because it is a old movie but you can tell that they worked really to "update" it and they did a really good

Obviously great movie, and this 4k transfer is beautiful. The colors, detail, light/dark highlights in Dolby Vision are just the best you're going to see from this movie. Super happy to have purchased this.. The 4k is great, and this steelbook case is beautiful to have also.

This is the ultimate version of this stunning film. You get both the 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray versions of the film. They play extremely well visually. "What we do in life, echoes in eternity!".

I had to get this movie for the 4K HDR experience and I tell you what it wasn't a let down. I watched this on the LG OLED C8 series and in my experience was fantastic. It's been a while since I've seen this movie and bringing it back in HDR was well worth having.

Several catalogue titles have been hitting the 4K UHD Blu-ray format, many with very good looking transfers. And Gladiator is another one that arrived and it looks and sounds amazing. This Oscar winner by director Ridley Scott is a must-own that will be a favorite in your collection. It is a timeless classic.

Ridley Scott has a tremendous body of work. Not all are 5-star, but when he's on he's on. and this is one of his best ever. Russell Crowe is out standing in the title role and Joaquin Phoenix is also outstanding as the main adversary. Great Story. Well worth owning.

This is my second favorite movie of all time, and the 4K treatment of Ridley Scott's epic masterpiece will make you feel like you're in the Colosseum. The higher resolution is awesome, but where the real treat is is in the wide-range color spectrum and contrast levels. A must-have for any "Gladiator" fan.

Gladiator is by far one of the best movies ever! Great storyline and is truly heartfelt! I cried each time at the end! Get this movie! You won’t regret it!

I had not seen the move in years but always enjoyed it and this 4K release it OUTSTANDING! Simply one of the best transfers I have viewed in my growing 4K movie collection, definitely worth the purchase.

This blu-ray did not disappoint. Gladiator is a great film. The story is focused and always moves forward with our strong hero's journey in mind. Russell Crowe is excellent as Maximus, a tough, honorable man born to be a leader. Joaquin Phoenix is also great as the antagonist of the story. This film has great action and includes a rewarding finale.

Disk skipped in the middle of movie. Tried to exchange since I got it on sale, but none available in store. Now have to wait for another sale and availability so I dont have to pay for shipping.

Gladiator with its high quality soundtrack and amazing 4K transfer where you get the excellent pan shots of the battle at the beginning and the subsequent adventure, great tones and color balancing. Pick this baby up.

This is honestly my favorite movie I have ever seen. One cannot help but feel for Russell Crowe's character the entire movie. It is truly moving and deep, but with great action to keep you entertained the entire time. Great for pre teens/teens on up. A must see for everyone and definitely worth buying in blu ray with how amazing this movie is.

Russell Crowe as the discredited commander of a roman garrison, who finds his much beloved wife and child were tortured and burned alive, finds himself as a gladiator slave. He rises to fame which irritates the emperor (Phoenix) who . . . . Spoiler Alert . . . Get the movie if you haven't seen it. Crowe and Phoenix are EXCELLENT!!!

If anyone in best buy land, has not purchased this movie do so. The theatrical background and its historical meaning makes an incredible Movie and watch it through my Sony 4K Blu-ray player connected to my Def Tech solo cinema sound through Audio Quest HDMI connecting to my Sony 4K TV sounds and feel like in a Movie Theater

This Oscar winning film really takes you back. Back to the times when bloodsport what the norm and watching the brutality of life was a form of entertainment. Time and time again I return to this movie as a way to escape the quick pace of today and return to a time when all you could depend on was your sword and shield.
