Steelbook looks awesome and the movie couldn’t look any better at all! Stunning 4K gives you superb detail and the color enhancement with HDR in some of the scenes is absolutely astounding! Just buy it. You’ll thank me.

I've watched this film several times over the years on Bluray. I have to say that this new 4k master, scanned from the actual film the movie was shot with originally, is really superb and totally worth having no matter how many times you may have seen the movie already.

Although I owned this movie in the Blu-Ray format I felt compelled to buy the 4K version of it and it was well worth it as the colors popped out of the screen on my LG 4K TV.

Well worth rewatching this film in this format. Better than the theater. There was nothing mind-blowing with the HDR here, but that's okay. I have no doubt that this is the best home release of Gladiator available.

This is a horrible beautiful film. It shows the cruelties we are capable of against each other. Russell Crowe is superb. Even if, like me, you own this film in other formats, the 4K version is a marvelous addition to your library.

Russell Crowe is excellent in his Oscar winning role as Maximus! Once a General, then framed for the Emperor's murder, Maximus is sold into slavery where he's forced to compete in deadly battles in the Coliseum. Flat out awesome!

Not much hasn't already been said about Ridley Scott's Oscar-winning classic. This is a great film. Just make sure you get the remastered version of the film (I'm pretty sure the older, horribly-mastered blu-ray is out of print anyway). The picture is a huge improvement over the older version, and the sound is just as good.

From tears to joy, the Gladiator has everything in between.. The love he has for his wife and son is undeniable the best I have seen though it was a flashback. The dialogue, acting, background, carnage will place one in each scene. A movie that will not be forgotten.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for a friend who recently bought a 4k blu ray player so I don't know about the quality of the dvd. It's a great movie..Russell Crowe is great.There is a lot of action. I'm giving it a 5 because I really liked the movie.

You already know this is a great movie, but this is one of the best 4K transfers I’ve seen yet. Even if you have this movie on Blu-ray, spend the money and upgrade to this 4K masterpiece

This is one of the best movies! I remember watching this on DVD in 2000. It was my first DVD at home experience. It was so awesome! So glad to get it in a more extreme version 20 yrs later!

Some of Russell Crowe's best work. Gladiator is a great story that will make you understand just what it was like to be a gladiator back in those times. I think Maximus may have had things better off than most Gladiators of that time, but it's a great movie none the less.

Picture slightly better than the Blu Ray- at this point I believe studios are just making a extra buck- without trying to enhance some of these great films for 4k.

A truly spectacular character drama filled with action, really great acting and an emotionally-charged Hans Zimmer score. It is a classic for a lot of reasons and is possibly Ridley Scott's last great movie.

You get both theatrical and extended and extended it was. 2 hours 50 minutes I think they extra content made the movie better. Picture was Really good , but it was the audio on my home theater (9.2) was outstanding.

Gladiator in 4K Ultra Blu-ray is awesome. The sound is awesome as well. I watched this on my PS5 paired with my 55” LG Nanocell and was just heaven. All in all a great package. Are you not entertained!?

My fiancé absolutely loves this movie as do I. When we popped it in she had no idea there was an extended cut and man did I score brownie points! Worth it! Also the 4k quality is how this film was meant to be seen.

One of the most epic movies gets a beautiful steelbook treatment. It's never looked or sounded better in 4K, and the steelbook art itself is nothing short of gorgeous. The best way to own one of the best films.

It was just like watching it in the theater all over again...but way better I think...especially at home! The 4K resolution really added a "maximus" feel to the movie and the opening scene has to be one of the best ones ever made in movie magic history.

This movie looks amazing in 4K. If you have a 4K setup with a sound system, definitely pick this classic movie up and check it out. This also comes with a standard Blu-ray and Digital Copy, in case you haven't upgraded to a 4K HDR TV yet. Recommended!
