I love this movie and I would recommend this movie to everyone.

Like the best of old school Hollywood epics, Gladiator pulls out all the stops to deliver spectacle, intrigue, and the all the trappings of ancient Rome. Yes, it's about fighting for your life, and fighting for justice, and even revenge, but it's about a man just trying to go home. Beautifully shot, with actors at the top of their game.

GLADIATOR IS IN MY HUMBLE OPINION, A NEAR PERFECT MOVIE. IT WORKS ON SO MANY LEVELS, THE ACTING WAS PHENOMENAL, THE STORY IS COMPELLING, THE BACKDROP OF THE FILM IS MY FAVORITE AND IS BEAUTIFUL. THIS MOVIE IS DESTINED TO BE A CLASSIC, AND IS A MOVIE THAT CAN BE WATCHED AND APPRECIATED WITH EACH SUBSEQUENT VIEWING. YOU WILL DEFINITELY NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

I saw this movie when it first came out & have lost count on how many times I have seen it since. Joaquin Phoenix was grossly overlooked for Best Supporting Actor in this,and it has outstanding performances from about five others as well. The musical score is incredible, as is the cinematography, and oh yes there is the story...one of the best movies of all time!!!

Some of Russell Crowe's best work. Gladiator is a great story that will make you understand just what it was like to be a gladiator back in those times. I think Maximus may have had things better off than most Gladiators of that time, but it's a great movie none the less.

We had the DVD and wanted to upgrade to Blu-Ray. Along with that came the extended version of the movie. So we got a nice upgrade along with a "new" version of a classic. Happy we did that.

This movie won Best Picture & actor for Russell Crowe. It has great fighting scenes & some top notch acting, even if the villain is a bit over the top & creepy. One of Ridley Scott's best films & I had to own on Blu-ray.

The story and cinema were both excellent accompanied by well chosen characters were all well suited for their roles. Just another well done masterpiece by Ridley Scott. Bravo

Instant classic, I feek in love with the movie years ago and only discovered the was an extended version years later to now and had to add to my collection

Very good depiction of Ancient Rome. Although debatable how historically accurate it is. Most of the time in Rome, it was against the rules to harm or kill opponents in the games.

This is such a great movie. And Best Buy always has a good deal going on. I really enjoy using my rewards certificates!!

This is such a great movie set in Ancient Rome. This movie has it all, action, betrayal, loss, revenge. The acting is nearly perfect and will suck you right in.

I love this movie, since I was a kid watching it over and over but i did t habe a joke theater system. I grew up and stumbled upon a Blu Ray version. And I wowzered.

I can watch movie over and over again. russell crow was outstanding in this movie. The story line of ceasar was tremendous and battle seens were tremendous.

One of the greatest movies ever made! Well worth the price. Upgraded an old DVD collector’s kit.

What can you say about Gladiator.. it will live to be a staple for movie lovers like Saving Private Ryan is. Def must see if you haven't yet
