A friend told me these are apparently made by various people and this is a known problem. Decided to return rather than waste my time swapping out for another one.

Don’t waste your money on this, just go for the Pokémon plus.

works better the GOPlus
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using 3 of these products for my family for over a year and a half now and they work flawlessly. they connect fast to my Android/iPhone phones, auto catch, and spin spins for me. it has about a 50% catch rate but that's what the GOPlus has also and it's not doing the clicking for you
