Good visuals and special effects in this flick - enough to recommend if you like Sci-Fi

This movie is visually stunning. The cast is amazing and plot is great. The steelbook art is absolutely well crafted. A great addition to my collection. This version is probably the best over the standard ones.

An action packed fun and funny movie. Kept me entertained on a good Greek God ride.

Thought Gerald butler play the villain for the first time thought it was going to be like 300

good concept, and a believable story, not acted the best, but i will watch it more than once.

The movie is pretty interesting and the steelbook looks amazing. The story's pretty good on one god's journey to become the ultimate ruler and his nephew standing in his way. He fights back to reclaim his throne.

A very colorful movie that looks great in 4K. A movie about ancient Gods with a twist.

Summary says it: "Gods of Egypt" is a Big Dumb - but Fun - popcorn movie. Generally better than a "B" movie - and with some familiar faces along for the ride. If you enjoy films such as "Clash of the Titans" or "Percy Jackson..." this is probably worth a look.

The storyline was nothing special but the action scenes, visuals and special effects made it interesting. If you want a great plot, skip it. But if you like Egyptian folklore, beautifully presented with a love story and a bit of action thrown in, it's worth watching.

Okay, you can call this a glitz movie with all the CG and blue screens that were used. But, if you want to see what the Egyptian Gods looked like and behaved, will then, this is it. The acting is about a 6 out of a 10 and the plot is middle of the road. This movie is good to play if you are wound up from a party and want to relax from it.

I did not buy this when it first came out. But I'm glad I did buy this it was pretty good.

The characters portrayed are right out of the ancient texts of Annunaki, Sumerians and Egyptians. Pop interpretation but historically accurate. Fun and action filled with great visuals.
