This film pays tribute and remembers Godzilla's rich cinematic history. It is has all the edge and excitement of modern special effects but the story to back it as well. So many nods to the classics. worth the bluray!

One of the better Godzilla films. I am collecting all of the Godzilla and "friends" movies. (Mothra, Rodan, King Ghidorah and Gamera)

I saw this movie in the theater twice, couldn't wait till it came out. Watched it again with my girlfriends kids the other night. They loved it too. the only bad thing is it takes Godzilla so long to make his arrival!

This movie has brought the Japanese monster to stunning reality. Sure the cheesiness that made the Japanese movies so popular is gone, but it's spirit remains the same.

I had my seven year old daughter watch this and she loved it - it is great to see a new generation be able to enjoy Godzilla. The Godzilla in this version is the biggest one yet, and the special effects are AWESOME!

This was what you'd expect from a remake. Updated and more stylized visuals, a revamped plot, etc. But it holds true to the original and was well made. Worth a watch.

This brings back the feel of the great and classic Godzilla movies started in 1954. It has great new effects mixed with the old-style Godzilla image and monster fighting styles!!! 100% better than the 1998 remake!!!

Great film. Even better in 4K. Originally had the 3D, this is how it should be seen!

They had a very hard task in making a good Godzilla movie. People were expecting a lot from it and I think they pulled it off. Hopefully they keep them coming.

The Atmos track alone is worth the purchase! The visuals won’t blow you away, but definitely an upgrade over the regular Blu-ray.

I absolutely love the collector's edition steel box. The movie was good int the very end. I would give this movie a solid C.

If you are looking for a movie that is just plain fun to watch, this is it! If you are looking for a boring, Oscar winning movie, you will be disappointed. Don't take life so seriously and get this movie and enjoy.

this is how a kiju film is properly made!!! keeping ths spirit of the original while updating story for modern times. the only thing missing is comic con promo videos.

I loved this movie. People I know gave it some hate, but if you are a huge original Godzilla fan like me, you will love this movie. It is 100% stylized like the original Godzilla movies. The build up is awesome.

I like SK-FI movies, so I liked Godzilla, it is kind of an old style movie, the way I like them. But the 3D was really great, I caught myself trying to look into the screen to see the streets below in some scenes.

This is a great addition to your steelbook collection. I prefer the second one, personally, but this was too delicious to pass up.

I have wanted to see this since it came out at the theaters and was not disappointed. The story line reminded me of the old Godzilla flicks with Mothra and the crew and the updated special effects are fantastic.

Finally you can see what's happening! It's brighter! And in 4k! Steelbook artwork is a little meh, but the movie is great!

Dark scenes are improved greatly with finer detail and deeper blacks. Dolby Atmos makes for a much more immersive experience also.

My only complaint, Godzilla didn't get enough screentime! Should of been introduced sooner and it seems like we saw too much human backstory and the other monster!
