This movie is 5 stars. They did a great job with the story of Godzilla and the 3D work. If you like action or scfi movies you should definitely see this movie. This version is better then the 2000 godzilla movie.

I purchased this to re-watch before Godzilla vs. Kong comes out. Movie looks really good in 4k and the steelbook case is awesome!

The movie that started it all! Without this, there wouldn't have been a monsterverse! One of my favorite purchases ever!

They got his snout and feet wrong and there wasn't enough of Godzilla fighting the other monsters. But, it was Godzilla and I have a soft spot for the big guy.

I am crazy though. I used to watch monster rally on Saturdays when I was growing up. This may not be the best movie to some, but I had to have it for my collection.

Battle scenes between Godzilla and the other creatures are exciting. Godzilla is huge and truly monster-like and not lizard-like like in the Godzilla 1998 version.

Awesome film especially in 4K can’t wait to see the rest of the older Godzilla films get in a 4K format which would be awesome

It annoys me up to hear critics and people complaining about the dramatic depth of the human characters. THIS IS A GODZILLA MOVIE...AND IT RULES!!! leave it at that

They finally got it right. Godzilla looks like his "old self" with a bit of an upgrade. The movie is A LOT better than the other one's they have tried to remake. If you're a Godzilla fan, you'll love this movie!

Been a long time Godzilla fan. I was so pleased to see the "Monster" represented more accurately to its long history. It's a Godzilla movie so don't expect academy awards but do expect a classic monster movie.

The first film of the Monster Universe introduces Godzilla in a never before scene style, as another Titan across the world awaits.

Was hoping the movie would be better but it's not that bad.... Of course Bryan Cranston is cool. Guess it would be good to own if you are a die hard Godzilla fan...

Really loved the return to the old style Godzilla type movies. Where Godzilla is a good guy fighting monsters. It had great action sequences and was very well done.

Much improved over standard blu-ray release. Deep black tones are richer on our LG Oled TV.

Godzilla took a 10 year hiatus and what was originally planned as a short story using the Godzilla/Gojira universe, they made one of the better movies of the year.

What a major difference between this Godzilla and the last one that came out. This is a must see for a good family movie night if you have 3D available on your TV.

I'm a big fan of Godzilla and my husband is trying to build up his 4K library so it's a plus for both of us.

Love the godzilla franchise, this movie was not my most favorite but I love the steelbook. The movie looks so much better in 4k.

My bias for Godzilla influences my rating, but it's a decent story, great effects, and good fight scene where gojira flames down the mutoh's neck!

The 4K conversion for this movie is outstanding. This steelbook is one of the best steelbook for Monsterverse. Very beautiful.
