Just like all the previous Godzilla movies, Godzilla is shown briefly in the beginning. There are long stretches where you wonder if you will see Godzilla. The fight scenes are really good. The ending leaves you wanting for more. I hope there will be a second movie.

Godzilla is brought back to life with a reboot of the franchise to help introduce him to new comers and also the visual effects are really good when they introduce Godzilla and the other monsters

I used to love the old godzilla flicks so I was looking forward to this one. Didn't enjoy it much in the theatre the first time i watched it tho. I gave it another chance thru rental and really like it. So I bought it. $5 price tag helped too!

It is good they went back to what appears to be a person in a Godzilla suit. This is what the classics were like and it is good to see them going back to the basics with out an overly done CGI special affect dinosaur in Manhattan fiasco. It was entertaining for the family, especially my daughter who is a huge Godzilla fan.

Bought my first 3D TV earlier this year and have been building up a collection of 3D movies. I had seen the movie in the theatre and thought it would be a good Addition to the 3D library. It is a good movie and the 3D in the film has made it more enjoyable.

Godzilla is not the film you may expect, it is clever, humorous, and has beautiful cinematography. It takes the Godzilla story you know and completely takes it for a twist, leaving you wondering what the outcome will be. Truly a must see.

Good all around movie with great visual effects. It beats all the previous Godzilla movies hands down. I have yet to watch this movie in 3D so I cannot comment on how well/bad the 3D version is. If you are a sci-fi fan or a Godzilla fan this movie is one to own.

I had been told that this movie wasn't worth seeing. However I like action movies and thought that I would give it a try. I am so glad that I bought this! The storyline, while thin, was still pleasurable and the special effects were awesome, especially on BluRay. I highly recommend this for people who like action movies.

Absolutely beautiful artwork on this Godzilla 4k disc. The movie itself is one of the better in the Godzilla franchise and they did a great job with the 4k transfer. The sound is excellent as well. Highly recommend!

This movie had excellent quality both video and audio. It can be best enjoyed with a 3D surround sound system and an ultrahd curved screen tv. During high volume audio portions of the movie the mghz really stands out. I would recommend this movie to any family looking to entertain their friends or impress their children.

Over all I would give it an 85. Good to dance to, easy on the eyes, but would I watch it again? Maybe another 50 times....OK 70!! All kidding aside, I did like it but the whole movie was filmed a little to dark which made it harder for me to see on the screen.

Godzilla 2014 in 4K HDR is a huge great difference compared to the blu ray counterpart with its very dark colors. It is much more brighter now and everything can be seen clearer especially all the night scenes

I liked this movie but don't think it is like the other movie that Matthew Broderick stared in. This movie is totally different and starts off kind of like the first movie but turns a corner with the story whit a mom and dad working at a nuclear plant in Japan. So don't think this is a second part of the first movie.

A good movie for those who like intense action & monsters. Better than the earlier movie and I also liked that one too. If you like a good action and Sci Fi movie, this is a good choice. Pop some popcorn, sit back and watch the special affects of a good disaster type movie unfold on your high depth flat screen TV.

Great fun movie. Not going to be a highly critically acclaimed film and win awards but a fun movie nonetheless. The 4K presentation is great as well.

Godzilla is a classic movie to me, and this new addition brought it right up to the 21st century where it belongs. While I would have loved to have seen more of Godzilla, it had a great realistic drama feeling to how humanity would react to such an event.

The title says it all! I grew up a fan of Godzilla and needed this one to be good after the travesty the late 90's one was (Godzilla babies WTF!?). It was clever how they played this one and with Bryan Cranston, I mean come on! Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!

This film gets a bad rap for not having much Godzilla in it but personally that didn't bother me. The movie is we'll paced and fun to watch. True Godzilla is only in a little bit of the movie but he owns every scene he's in and leaves you begging for more.

Godzilla 3D is a must have. Best American Godzilla movie to date. The plot has it's flaws but, is there a perfect movie? Now Godzilla himself looks amazing phenomal cgi, the blu ray image quality and sound are referenced level and the 3D looks amazing. Watch it on a huge screen and crank the volume up. Go buy it !

Great picture and it sounds amazing on sound system with 4k dolby atmos with subwoofer/surround sound. Was a good start to Godzilla/kong movies
