I'll admit, when I saw it in theaters I was a bit disappointed. Watching it at home and really understanding the story and such made it much better. It's true Godzilla isn't in it enough but when he is, you know it. It's freaking awesome.

I was at best buy to pick up a samsung galaxy 7 edge. My 9 year old daughter did well at school for the week so i told her to go pick out something for around $10 bucks so she found this movie. She loves it. Shes watched it over and over. Def worth the few bucks i spent.

Good movie. The director is going for a Jaws type situation where you only get glimpses of the monster, but when you finally see Godzilla, you feel it was worth the wait. Decent acting, and Bryan Cranston is his usual award winning self.

This movie reminded me of the old Japanese Godzilla movies that I watched when I was a kid. So glad that this reboot went back to the original roots. Blu ray has a booming audio track. Your subwoofer will shake your room with this movie.

The movie itself is a bit slow but has a great climactic ending and the blu ray looked great and i suspect the 4K disc to be better in every way.

If you're a Godzilla fan, then this movie's only draw back will be no having enough of Godzilla. However it still does a great job of making Godzilla the hero and getting to hear that iconic roar is almost worth buying the movie alone.

I love godzilla. They showed enough godzilla to make it a godzilla movie but in my opinion they focused to much on the military side in this movie I hope if there is a sequel they would show more godzilla screen time and less military

If you enjoy this genre, it will be exciting enough to see Godzilla back in action, even though he is thicker around the middle and late to arrive. Hopefully no spoilers, but Bryan Cranston in a hazmat suit again, who can ask for more?

Overall an enjoyable movie. Bryan Cranston was excellent. The other cast seemed like they were only there simply supporting the effects. All said I liked the movie very much. The 3d effects in my opinion enhanced the viewing experience.

Saw this movie in 3D on my friend's TV and it made me buy a 3D–4K it looked so good. The movie is worth a watch but can lose your attention here and there. I wish I would've bought it in 3D. Either way, is a new look from the classic.

I've been a life long Godzilla fan and I can say this movie gets my seal of approval. The epic finale is worth the price alone. The human part of the story isn't the greatest but it never is in these movies. Can't wait for the sequel.

This movie was much better than I thought it would be everyone in the family enjoyed it always liked him as a kid this was much better than I expected I would recommend it for a lot of people who are Godzilla fans and even some that aren't big fans of Godzilla it still worthwhile to watch.

I really enjoyed the monster scenes in this movie and it makes a great film to test out a home theatre system. Shin Godzilla is also a great film and was created after the success of this 2014 American film. Definitely watch that after this one.

The Steel for this one went very quickly. I was lucky enough to swag one though. The movie is pretty good. I honestly felt like it could have been a bit better. It looks great on 4k though. 9/10

It's godzilla what can you say I love this iteration of godzilla and especially having it on steel book is gonna fit my collection very well

While it's not really in the same league as the original film or as silly as some of the later sequels, this Godzilla is fun to watch and takes the monsters seriously. The Blu-Ray has some nice a/v specs and pretty good extras, too.

Godzilla has excellent special effects/CG and even the story line is a little bit unique. Godzilla is more is line with the Godizlla from the older movies than the version that resided in NY. Even though he does look a little overweight, his eagerness to fight is always present in the movie.

This director keeps improving but despite the great effects his human dialogue, while better, is still somewhat lacking. Worth a purchase if you like a more realistic approach to giant monster movies without the camp of Pacific Rim.

Being a Godzilla fan since childhood I was very pleased with this U.S. version. It has a more serious take on Godzilla and the special effects are top notch. The only gripe I have is I wanted to see Godzilla throughout the movie more.

Godzilla, in my opinion was a great classic monster movie In today's cinema. From the visual effects, sound effects and story line this movie was truly a a toast to the classics where we see monster vs. monster. Every movie collector should add this movie to their collection. Two thumbs up!
