I love this movie. By far the best Godzilla since the original. The director did a great job by making sure there was a dark ominous feel each time the creatures were on scene. I cannot wait until the rumored second movie comes out with our cult classic creatures like Rodan.

I was happy to see that they kept this movie true to the original style of Godzilla movies and did not just make it an all out Michael Bay everything-explodes-for-an-hour style of movie that we seem to get beaten over the head with these days. It left me excited for a sequel.

Godzilla is a fun movie to watch for those that want to be entertained for a couple of hours. It's not the old Godzilla, but I'm sure the actors had a lot of fun making this movie and blowing stuff up. Fun entertainment.

You can look at this movie 2 ways. As a Godzilla movie, it is great compared to a lot of the others. I thoroughly enjoyed it. As a movie in general, it is solid. I would have liked a few tweaks, but overall I am happy.

I find this to be the best new Godzilla to date - much better than the 1998 version - but it's still a re-boot. The campy feel of the original Japanese monster movies can't be re-created, but this is a decent homage.

This was a little cheesy. Nevertheless, it took me back to my early childhood days of watching Godzilla. What was great about this version was that there were no English dubbing on top of the other language. Nice!

People complained there's too little view of the monsters. For me, that kind of desire had already been fulfilled by Pacific Rim, and therefore this movie's story and the way it is presented is sufficient for me. Pacific Rim is a better action movie to me though.

Bought this for my husband, he is a huge Godzilla fan and he loves this movie. I saw it with him and I enjoyed it too. Special effects are great, pretty good story line (for this kind of movie) and overall good time.

Great genre of movie. Nothing like the old Japanese originals but this is the next version with more CGI and better special effects. Not real happy with all of the creative license in the movie, but great watching...

Ages ago, when I was a kid, I went to see Jaws 3D at the theater. Not that Godzilla is a 'scary' movie but it transported me back to that time and how excited I felt seeing this monstrosity on the big screen. There's mixed reviews out there, but I loved this movie!

Thank you best buy just waiting on kong vs godzilla. These steelbooks are super nice good job on the casing and binding as well. The 4k quality on the bluray menu is good as well.

Great reimagining of the classic. Taken from a modern, more realistic view; this remake I stills the fear of a monster arriving. Keeps you entertained and at the edge of your seat the entire film. I look forward to seeing this series continuing. It's off to a great start.

Amazing movie and the quality of the HDR improved the movie a lot. The Dolby Atmos mix is also better. Physical media is the way to go and this is one to have in your collection.

Godzilla's return to the big screen is a fun ride, but it takes some time to get going. Stick with it though, and by the time you get to the third act you'll get all the monster fighting action you want! Recommended!

True to the original Godzilla, updated and very entertaining, Watched it at the movie theater and decided I would have to add it to my home collection. Looks great on the 120 inch projected screen inmy home theater.

This movie was great.a Godzilla looked great. This movie had plenty of action and fight scenes..the 4k made this movie looked really good..great pics and Hdr made the colors pop

My son asked me for this movie for Easter. Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the actual movie because I haven't seen it, but if he wanted it, then there must be some good action in it. I liked that it came with a digital copy and DVD and the price was right.

While I believe the first 1954 B&W film is the best, this "remake" is the best to date...far surpassing the lame 1998 version. It is worth the watch and reminded me of the old Godzilla. Not bad in 3D either.

Well, it does focus on the 2D human characters too much but the Godzilla scenes make it totally worthwhile. Great fight at the end. Still enjoy the Toho films more but I'm optimistic for the sequel

Wus a really cool movie like the part Godzilla fride the monster at the end * spoiler alert :) Walter whit could of done more on the movie then just doing his thing lol but over all I give Godzilla a 8.5 out of 10
