Its your typical Godzilla movie takes forever to get to the monsters. I would recommend pacific rim if you like big monsters. But I like the godzilla franchise. My son loves the movie so maybe I'm too critical.

This was the BEST remake movie of the godzilla monster yet!(spoiler) When he was getting beat down by the modern mothra and her mate, I actually felt sorry for godzilla! Lol. We'll written storyline this time.

Nice reboot to the classic Godzilla movie with great special effects. The director honored the classic movies with major destruction not like the 90's remake. The movie wasn't made with a heavy plot, just good simple entertainment. More serious than a comic theme.

This movie is much better then that other more recent Godzilla movie. If you love the old school Godzilla's where you get to see the "good guy" Godzilla who saves mankind from giant monsters you'll love this one. The acting is great and so are the visuals. Buy it!

Always been a Godzilla fan and this 'American' version is true to the original, hella strong, heals fast, Radioactive Fire Breath attack looks kind of awkward since it's CG flames instead of that hilariously fake spray old Rubber-suit Godzilla used. Fun for all.

Awesome action movie, don't expect an Oscar type movie it's just monsters fighting but that's what you expect going into it.

Finally, a movie that does Godzilla justice. The CGI doesn't look fake. The camera angles on the shots give it realism! The story/plot of the main character becomes interwoven methodically. If you're a fan of the Godzilla, this is a must.

I did enjoy this remake, it took awhile to build up to everything but it's worth it. The next few they make will have more action from start to finish I hope. But the scenes with Godzilla fighting were great.

Have been a huge fan of Godzilla for a long time now. Gareth Edwards does a great job at creating a story and making you feel a connection with the characters, both big and small. The fight scenes are pretty epic as well.

If you like Godzilla then you’ll love this. Great origin story!

GODZILLA IS ABOVE AVERAGE MOVIE, THERE IS NO BIG ACTOR NAMES IN THE MOVIE, HOWEVER A LOT BETTER THEN THE AMERICAN VERSION OF GODZILLA BACK IN THE LATE 1990'S. BLUE RAY DOES HAVE GOOD EXTRAS, WORTH THE MONEY.

Finally, something to rid us of the bad taste left in our mouths by the first attempt to bring Godzilla to our American shores. This film is worthy of taking a place alongside the best of the Japanese films.

I absolutely loved this one. It's nice to finally have another Godzilla film after the long pause from the 90s...this film feels like getting an old friend back. Good action and excellent special effects.

This movie was great as far as Godzilla movies go. It had lots of action but it takes a long slow process to build you up to that action. The movie is fairly long too but is a must see for any Godzilla fan.

Great Black Friday deal! One of the best Godzilla movie that has a good story plot. Picture and sound quality is without a doubt the best around.

This movie redeemed the all the bad reviews that came with the previous American version. It was great and thoughtfully planned out. Great acting and CG work although a bit boring at points but did not take away from the movie as a whole.

Forget the slow pace and dark picture. Turn out the lights and let Godzilla brighten the screen with his blue fire breath. The only time Godzilla looked better then this is in the sequel.

I remember Saturday afternoons waiting to watch Godzilla. Epic moments. I see the original films now and wonder why was I so afraid. The remakes in my opinion have been horrible until now. Loved this movie.

If you like monster/sci-fi movies, this is the movie for you! GODZILLA is one of the best action movies of the summer, 2014! The movie is filled with action and amazing scenes with GODZILLA....well, I don't want to give anything away. So, go see this movie!
