The packaging is outstanding, a beautiful case to display one of my favorite versions of Godzilla. The 4K release corrects the darkness of the original Blu-Ray release.

Some people weren't happy with how little Godzilla was in this, but I personally enjoyed the build. Once you get to the end then you get to see monsters duke it out. I also liked how Godzilla became almost an anti hero with a great stand up and cheer moment at the end.

This movie did a good job at kicking off the Monsterverse. Although, I think there was too much human dialog, rather than showcasing Godzilla himself. I still love watching it.

My kids loved this movie! We sat throught the 3d version and it was great. I've seen the old Godzilla movies in black and white and it could have spoiled it a little but this movie was great. Buy it, blast it up if you have a good surround sound system, its worth it.

I have been a fan of Godzilla for a long time and this movie is a great addition to my collection. The story seems to move a long at a good pace while also not leaving you in complete darkness on what is going on.

On the surface it is a critique of dependence of the west to technology. It references back to the classics with a manifestation the danger nuclear energy and the powerlessness of man vs nature. Acting was sub-par at best. Can’t wait for the mash-up with King Kong.

As a huge 4K movie steelbook collector, this is one purchase I’ve been waiting for years!! Im honored to have been able to purchase this item considering it sold out in days.

Better than I expected, director assimilated old godzilla movies into the new genre of godzilla, Ken Watanabe gave instant credibilty to the film (Last Samurai). This is is a movie you see on a large IMAX screen.

Some people don't like this remake, but I think it's wonderfully done, because it's a different take on a classic. The special effects are rich but the overall picture is fairly dark so I recommend watching it on a high quality TV that can show blacks well.

Sound and video quality are great. It's a Godzilla movie that's reintroducing a damaged character to America. Slow build to the reveal but the payoff is there.

Saw this movie on my Samsung 4k tv , played on a medium level sony blue ray player and it looked fantastic, could only imagine if I had an audiophile quality player to compliment my McIntosh power plant. Well maybe soon but for now it still looked and sounded great.

grew up watching Godzilla movies as cheesey as they were & always enjoyed them , with what they can do with CGI now is awsome , a must add for your movie collection , wait for the sale price .

i have godzilla with Mathew Broderick and godzilla 2000 but had seen this movie and wanted to own it also as i like to watch commercial free t.v. i am using Best Buy to complete my collection.

Been waiting for this in 4K for a long time. The picture quality is great. You can distinctly see a dark Godzilla in a dark city at night without lights. Needed this.

So glad to see this finally released on 4K Blu-ray and it looks so much better than previous releases. The precious blu-ray release was too dark and this fixes it!

Its your typical Godzilla movie takes forever to get to the monsters. I would recommend pacific rim if you like big monsters. But I like the godzilla franchise. My son loves the movie so maybe I'm too critical.

Nice reboot to the classic Godzilla movie with great special effects. The director honored the classic movies with major destruction not like the 90's remake. The movie wasn't made with a heavy plot, just good simple entertainment. More serious than a comic theme.

This was the BEST remake movie of the godzilla monster yet!(spoiler) When he was getting beat down by the modern mothra and her mate, I actually felt sorry for godzilla! Lol. We'll written storyline this time.
