In this reboot, along with Kong: Skull Island, sets up a new series of films starring all the great monsters of Toho's films. In this one, Godzilla protects the Earth from creatures called M.U.T.O.s.

Alright movie, Godzilla has like 5 minutes of screen time. Steelbook.is awesome though. Loved the transfer

I've been waiting for this movie for a long time and was not disappointed. The only thing that they should of done was show more of Godzilla and him fighting the mutos more.

As a movie, it's entertaining, but as a Godzilla movie, it's not. Godzilla takes forever to appear, the fight sequences are badly choreographed, the special effects, while technically good, are pretty pointless. Watching the final credits, I found it fascinating, and really stupid, that it took hundreds (really!) of special effects artists to take the place of a guy in a rubber suit. You want a good Godzilla movie? Try Godzilla Vs. Megaguiris, Godzilla Vs. Mechagodzilla II, or the original Japanese Gojira.

This was a lot of fun to watch and while I love the cheesy Godzilla movies, this one was more serious and done well. All of the monsters were super cool.

Saw this in the theater. Great movie beginning this ultimate reptile. Nice action sequences,some of the acting falls a little flat, but overall a great movie. Hopefully, we'll see some sequels come along.

Worth upgrading over the bluray version. Deeper blacks without pixilation. Steelbook is very nice as well.

Great movie. Love that they made it available in UHD. Still has some scenes that are quite dark.

Lighting is much better. Actual film quality doesn’t differ far off from the Blu Ray edition but it’s still worth it because now it’s brightened.

The graphics & special effects were great but it was just a little too long for me. It is definitely one that I'm glad we added to our collection and will watch over again.

This was a great reboot of Godzilla. Many people would complain that the big guy didn't get enough screen time but I think there was a lot of kaiju action to keep me entertained. This movie was a thumbs up in my opinion!!

its a good movie, but my only real complaint is that i wish godzilla himself was actually in the film more, would have loved to have seen more of the battles taking place

It's the best Godzilla in decades, and has an actual story to follow. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. The 3D could have been better, but that's a minor grievance.

The movie is a remake of the old story of Godzilla, but with some new twists. There will be definitely a saga. Is a good action movie for a movie night day. Good investment, since you get a special edition DVD.

Outstanding picture quality! The 4k is dark on purpose, but not as dark as the original BD, which is good. Can't say enough good things.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone that likes Godzilla .I'm big fan of Godzilla movies, I love this part of the series.....

I thought the movie was great but others I watched it didn't enjoy it as much. You need to know a little history of Godzilla or watched previous movies to enjoy this one.

Being a little kid when the first Godzilla came out and hardly remembering it; this movie did a good job. I was thoroughly impressed and kept my attention the whole time.

The 4K version is an improvement over the 3D/ Blu-ray versions and the steelbook case design is very nice.

This is a great movie for kicking back and munching popcorn. Not a bad way to spend a couple of hours. Great action, special effects and humor too.
