Better film when compared to the 2014 Godzilla. What people want to see are monsters, and it has plenty of it. However to much time is spent on the dumb family plot, which is cliche and tired out. A film where some of the smartest humans inexplicably make the dumbest decisions. Video quality inn 4k is good , not spectacular. Audio is absolutely mind-blowing, particularly in the bass department, totally bananas in HD audio.

This movie voice very good I liked it a lot if I had to watch it again I probably word he cares there is a lot of cool stuff and godzilla shoots and kills out of cool other monsters I like to watch this me and that's why I purchased it also the steel book looks amazing

If you felt the 2014 Godzilla failed to show Godzilla in all its glory, this movie successfully makes up for it. The visuals, soundtrack, and fight scenes are all enjoyable as well as the throwbacks to classic Godzilla films. As for the product, a 4k disc, Blu-ray disc, and a digital copy came in a well made steelbook covered in kaiju art.

While the movie suffers a bit with so much going on at once, it is a fun monster movie and this is a great steelbook to accompany this visual monster treat. The steelbook is solid so it makes sense why it sold out. Each of the four main monsters are represented. What’s not to love in a steelbook with 4K, Murat, and digital? Perfect price.

I enjoyed the original, and loved this one. Don’t listen to the Professional reviews, this movie delivers. Perfect? No. But awesome! Ppl complain not enough monster action. Then this movie gives you a ton of it, and ppl complain theirs too much. Just enjoy the movie!

As with most sequels, this one did not live up to the first one. I felt that Godzilla wasn't even trying to kill Ghidorah in the first battle. He obviously hasn't been training much. It was sad to see him needing to be "juiced up" to finish the battle. Maybe instead of laying around on the ocean floor, hit the gym couple days a week with a personal trainer. He's going to need it to fight Kong at the Royal Rumble!

Although I was impatient and purchased the digital version and will be returning this to the store, I loved it. When Godzilla turned into fiery godzilla I was pumped. You can see mothra wings when he releases his energy burst. I'm ready for kong vs. Godzilla.

The Godzilla reboot was somewhat divisive. While some found the human characters to be compelling and were not bothered by how long it took for the big guy to show up, others were disappointed. I actually quite enjoyed the film and so it's somewhat sad to see that the sequel appears to have been catered towards appeasing the detractors. While they undoubtedly assembled a fantastic cast and put a lot of effort into creating a more complex plot for their characters, I found it all to be terribly melodramatic and struggled to find any real consistency in motivation. It all felt quite ridiculous and resulted in a major step back emotionally. I certainly did not need wall-to-wall kaiju action, but this is where the film succeeds. The effects are quite strong and the scale is obviously enormous. And yes, there's certainly a lot of it. It's disappointing to see the series lose what made the previous film such a standout in my mind, but for anyone looking for large monsters fighting one another, your movie has arrived. Depending on your expectations and demands, this could be a decent addition to your home library, especially in 4K.

We bought this movie for my son's 6th birthday. It is his favorite. If you love the old Godzilla monster movies you will love this movie. It brings together a lot of the old kaiju in massive titan fights all over the world, including Mothra, Rodan, and Monster Zero (King Ghidorah). It is a true homage to the Toho movies.

I have been wanting to see this movie for quite sometime now and am really happy that I finally picked it up. The idea that there are so many monsters in this movie that go up against one of the greatest monsters of all time was really awesome to see. I highly recommend this movie and will be watching it again and again.

Wow, if you have a decent home theater set-up or better be prepared for a ton of bass (LFE) from the Atmos track on this 4K Blu-ray! It is awesome! The picture quality is excellent as well. Highly recommended!

I giggled like a lil school girl watching this in 3D! I had no idea all the Monsters making appearances in this movie. I thought was only gonna be Godzilla vs King Ghidora. Right from the start Mothra makes appearance, then later Rodan shows up! OMG great in 3D for all old school Monster movie lovers like myself! 5 stars!

A must own for any Godzilla or monster/titan fan. Pays wonderful homage to the Toho origins and its varied history. My personal favorite was the musical nods and creature sounds. Way better movie than the 2014 Godzilla. The special features are also a must watch as they go into so much fun detail about the creatures.

I had to add this to my collection since I have all of the modern versions. This one had very unique angles to the story that made it interesting. I also have the latest King Kong Skull island and can't wait to see these two in the same movie next year.

This movie over all was pretty good. It had a good plot, good acting and the special effects overall did not appear as though they were low budget produced. I especially liked the way they made Godzilla look! If you like monster movies I believe you would enjoy this flick. Also, the length of this film was good. It was prolly one of the better monster movies that I've watched in a long time.

If buying this film, the steelbook is a must have for any Godzilla fan, it has pictures of all four of the monsters. The film is awesome, more action than the Godzilla 2014, a update of the classic monsters, Mothra, Rodan, King Ghidorah and even slight changes to Godzilla, all fighting to be the king of the monsters.

Even if you're not a Godzilla fan, give this movie a try. It is so awesome. As a fan and seeing how the effects have progressed over the years in the Godzilla movies, it's hard not to appreciate this. Plus the fight scenes were awesome! And Best Buy, thank you again. Your Black Friday price beat everyone else!

I've been watching Godzilla from the beginning, and while some movies were kind of hokey, he's always held a place in my heart. This is a new era of movies using CGI and I personally like where it's going. I thought the movie was what I expected and look forward to any movies coming in the future. GO GO Gojira!

Saw this movie at theatre and knew I wanted in my collection of Godzilla and King Kong movies!!Total fan and have enjoyed these type of movies since I was a kid..Can’t wait to see what will be coming when Godzilla and King Kong Meet at Skull Island!

I’m a die hard Godzilla fan since I was a kid. Hasn’t failed me yet and there were some great scenes in this one. Good effects yet wish it was a bit easier to see Godzilla in the movie itself. But all in all a good movie and the grandkids loved it.
