Godzilla is a beast in this movie, has a good explanation from the previous movies that have come out and ties in together well.

It's Godzilla...with the lates CGI effects...it's awesome. Legendary has done a great job with the latest iteration of Godzilla movies. Fans of the 50+ year-old franchise will love it. <My only complaint is the lack of monsters in the "supporting cast". Some of them are only seen for literally - seconds, and the others for barely more than a few minutes. C'mon man - it's a GODZILLA movie - give us monsters! The human cast is excellent, Ken Watanabe is perfectly cast. Millie Bobby Brown's character is great, though the directors/ writers were at risk of turning this into a teen-angst show. Careful there Hollywood - this is GODZILLA, not network TV. Charles Dance was a great choice as Jonah, and Vera Farmiga's opposing role to Kyle Chandler is well written. Love Godzilla? You'll LOVE this. Like action? You'll be entertained. Want more human nonsense? Go watch an MTV show.

Good Godzilla movie which I've been a Godzilla and monster movie fan since I was small and I was very happy with this one also.

We watch it three times already. Looking forward to my next long flight to watch it again

I recently bought this movie. It's a pretty good return of a beloved character with great 3D and lots of surprises! I recommend!

The movie itself is not the best, poor character development, but as far as a reference disk for a home theater system it is great.

The movie good. Just dont go into it thinking you are watching some ground breaking new vision. Pretty standard monster fare.
