The 4k picture is good. The soundtrack is very good with some excellent bass. The movie/story itself is OK. If you like movies with bass, I'd add this one to your collection.

If you have the Blu-Ray version, just keep it and don't worry about buying the upgrade. The colors are dark so HDR doesn't really have any appeal for me. I don't recommend it.

While the Godzilla design for this American adaptation was a odd one, it has great destruction... this was really Godzilla vs the humans fro this one... no iconic monsters

While most fans of giant monster movies agree this film is one of the worst, Sony released a stunning looking steelbook that'll look great in any Godzilla fan's shelf.

The only reason why I bought the 4k Steelbook of the 1998 Godzilla film was because it was on sale. Movie isn't great unfortunately. Steelbook is nice.

This is the one where the U.S. tried to make their first Godzilla movie. Two things I didn't like about the movie: 1. Godzilla is nothing more than a giant iguana on steroids. 2. Godzilla lays eggs. As far as I've know its always been Godzilla King Of The Monsters not Godzilla Queen Of The Monsters. Besides all that the movie is not all that bad.

Seen this at the movies really enjoyed it and now today wanted to put in my collection so watched again and it’s cheesy but enjoyable

1998 Godzilla was a joke yet fun to watch however this 4k edition is ridiculous. Though images may look sharper in some scenes there is so much video noise in most of the film.. literally so much of the white dotted "snow effect" its just another annoyance added to an already annoying movie. Such a letdown to a letdown of a franchise i guess. Thankfully a regular blu-ray is also included which you're better off watching.

I loved this movie when I was a kid, seeing it now I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone who hasn’t seen it before.

Hate the movie, love the upgrade. The 4K quality is nice for the giant monster movie that this is.
