I was extremely fond of Godzilla from 2014. It felt like a monster movie, with a sense of dread. This film had elements I enjoyed, but both it and King of the Monsters never captured the dark atmosphere and sense of loss from the first in the series. Honestly, the cgi scenes felt too much like a video game as well.

Godzilla vs Kong was amazing. It was nice to watch my son enjoy this was worth it

The 1st time I watched this movie, I kept falling asleep and caught bits and pieces of it. I told everyone how crappy the movie was, but since I didn't watch the entire movie from beginning to end I thought I was probably being unfair. I kept seeing goid reviews and people hiving it praise so I decided to purchase and completely watch it. Boy oh boy was a right. This movie is a huge disappointment! The fight between Kong and Godzilla was laughable. At one point yhey had Kong perform a MMA fighting move and they gad him weilding an axe!! Pure garbage. It seems they spent all their time on the special effects, story, character development etc. There was absolutely nothing that made me want to watch this on ots entirety let alone watch it again.

Good, entertaining movies. Good cast and worth to have it in your collection.

I'm a Godzilla fan, but this entry from the "Monsterverse" (which began with 2014's Godzilla) struck me as the worst. Maybe because the plot seemed a little silly or convoluted.... or maybe the monster fights were a bit silly... I don't know. Maybe I'll give it a few more watches... But I much preferred King of the Monsters.
