Amazing Blu ray upgrade-I have owned this on every format available-and this is the best the film has ever looked(owned the previous Blu-ray released too)Great array of extras,some ported over from the previous Blu-ray,but there's a brand new retrospective with cast and crew,albeit rather short(30 mins) is worth the (rather high)price tag alone.

I didn't experience the darkness other reviews mentioned. The audio quality was incredible. The 4k aspect was better than I was expecting considering other reviews. Maybe next time I'll watch the 25th anniversary edition included with the 4k disc. Not disappointed at all.

When I saw one of my favorite movies on sale for only $7, I never could pass it up!!! Let's face the facts here though...how could a movie that starts Robert DeNiro, Ray Liotta, and Joe Pesci (among other amazing actors) even get away with charging only $7?? This is definitely where Best Buy's name come because this was the Best Buy of that day!!

THE MOB HAS NEVER BEEN DONE WITH THE EXPERTISE AS LIOTA, DENIRO, PESCE, SORVINO & BRACCO CREATED IN SCORSESE VIEW OF THE CONNECTED FAMILY. THEY ALL SHOWED THE TRUE WORKINGS OF THE MOB TO THE POINT WHERE HENRY HILL (LIOTA) TURNS STATES EVIDENCE AGAINST THEM ALL. HE THEN GOES INTO THE WITNESS PROTECTION PROGRAM TO GET AWAY.

And one the the best ones at that! This movie needs to be seen by everyone! I don't want to spoil the movie so please take my word on it and pick it up! Along with many other fantastic movie, best but was awesome enough to release this on steelbook, you may be able to find it, if you can find it at all grab it, it need to be in your collection!

What a great movie! Joe Pesci is great! He'll make you laugh... ;-) Movie looks great in 4K! You can almost taste the gravy stirring on the stove! The steelbook packaging is cool. If you don't own it already, now is the time to pick it up.

this was the movie that paved the way for GTA to come about. Instead of me playing as Niko Bellic and driving around and shooting at people for drugs or money, I am watching a 3 hour flick about a man who rises and falls throughout the mafia world.

Sometimes a film comes along that is so iconic, almost anyone will enjoy and appreciate it. Whether you are man or woman, you should see and own this movie. Perhaps the greatest “mob” film ever... and it’s now here on 4K disc and digital copy!!!

The studio took their time with this release. Don't be fooled by the many many blu ray transfers of "Goodfellas" you see in bargain bins for $7. This edition is NOT that. This is a 4k remaster on blu ray with newer extras and a new cover. It even has a booklet. This isn't a random re-issue in a new box. Totally worth it!

The definitive release of Goodfellas! The prior release as well as the 4k release are terrible. The color grading and level of detail on the 25th anniversary edition is second to none. THIS is the way it’s meant to be watched.

first off who doesnt like this movie. ill show everyone this movie and they say wow is there a sequel? its funny nowadays everybody thinks there would be a sequel but you can watch martin's movie Casino it is very similar.

Without a doubt a 5 STAR movie. I'm not really sure if you need this in Ultra HD 4K. The picture quality isn't really that improved. But having this digitally is a must! Being able to pull this movie up at any time from any of my Apple devices is worth the $17.99 I paid for it.

Seen this movie more times than I can remember. It never gets old. I bought just because I could get it on sale which was a deal just on the strength of how great this movie is.

I love this movie it is one of the best mob movies of all time. The 4K scanning of this film looks excellent & the Steelbook is a very nice addition overall I would highly recommend this film to anyone who loves movies.

One of the all time classic gangster films! This intimate and viceral look into the life of a mobster is one of Martin Scorsese's most iconic and greatest films. The new Blu Ray has a new, beautiful transfer and is worth a double dip if you already own the older version with inferior picture quality.

this has to be the greatest mob movie since godfather one. The action is non stop and so realistic great performance by liota pesci and deniro theses guys were born to play these parts. I have watched this movie 3 times since I purchased. I would love to have lived this life.

Scorsese’s finest work in my opinion and all based on a true story, which most of his movies are to some degree! Looks better in 4K and the steelbook I love! Pick up this mobster classic at Best Buy today!

An absoutel classic, you cant go wrong owning this for under $25, because which streaming service it is on is always changing.

I have always liked Goodfellas, all three main actors are great when paired together especially Robert De Niro & Joe Pesci. Just as good as Casino, where both of them also stared in and would also recommend.
