Must have!Remastered perfectly!Classic!Great movie!

Always loved a movie with Robert De Niro in it!!!!

Best looking as it’s ever been a classic mobb flic

what can i say? everyone knows this is one of the greatest movies ever made. a must see on blu ray! great everything, and first rate! why can't they make movies like this anymore? this is my annual family get together movie. we always serve pasta, and smoke cigars wile watching this it's the only real way to enjoy the movie. watching this with family and friends once a year on my birthday is perfect it seems this movie was meant for that. my old dvd was a little to scratched up so i gladly bought the new blu ray at a great price! LOVE IT!

Being an avid collector of SteelBooks, I just had to have this version of Goodfellas! The art work on both the inside and out are awesome! As for the movie itself, this 4K transfer is one of the better transfers I've seen. The colors are vivid, the sound quality is great and the picture is top notch. I will say that this being a 4K transfer of a movie that came out in 1990, there are still spots of grain and "noise" that are probably unavoidable due to the age of the film. Overall, however, I would highly recommend this 4K SteelBook to anyone who is a fan of this movie and / or a collector of SteelBooks!

One of his best movies and certainly a high point for Ray Liotta's career. Good music, good actors, good story...it's a good time.

Goodfellas spins a True tale of Henry Hill, who went from teenage Mob runner to the top of the game only to be forced to turn snitch to survive. Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci and Ray Liotta lead the pack in Martin Scorcece's 1990 Masterpiece. This UHD Steelbook release is the same encoded UHD disc from the earlier issued disc. The Steelbook itself is nice but not the best artwork for really showcase the film. However due to the nature that the previous release is out of print, this edition will be the best to own it!

This is my favorite movie and even in a newer viewing quality it’s just as good as when I first saw it.

This is one of my favorite films of all time, but strangely enough, prior to the release of this 4K steelbook, I had never actually owned a physical copy of it. Now I do. I don't yet have a 4K blu ray player so I can't test the video quality of the disk, but the digital copy looks and sounds great, and the packaging, bonus features, and delivery times were all excellent. I don't collect a lot of films, but the modern releases I do buy, i get from Best Buy because of their steelbook editions.

Okay, I'll be the first to admit that this is not the perfect must-have film for 4K because of quality of picture, but this is a near perfect film because of the content (which I'm sure your familiar why if you've seen the film) and the adequate improvements to the overall picture and sound. Goodfellas is a classic and should be owned on every format from VHS to 4K. Add this film to your collection, even though it's older it still proves to be amazing in 4K some 27 years after its initial release. It looks about twice to three times the picture clarity than the blu-ray it comes with.

Classic gangster movie featuring some of Hollywood’s greatest. Tough and gritty scenes. Excellent picture quality and sound. Beautiful steelbook, which includes 4K disc, blu ray, and digital code. Wow, just a pure classic movie. Movie definitely keeps your attention with some stunning scenes. The picture and audio are very good, should look and sound good in one’s home theater setup. Highly recommended gangster classic. Enjoy.

Great 4k transfer for one of my all time favorite movies, absolutely love this movie.

It's a mafia movie, but we get to see a story from the bottom level. The main characters are associates, not exactly members of a family. There's a reason why this is a classic: the life is portrayed as glamorous but dangerous and full of paranoia. You just never know when you could die from a guy like Tommy or get picked up by narcs. Scorsese and the cast deliver many memorable scenes that fans quote as much as Sopranos quotes.

Sadly, however, the 4k disc does not wow. While its probably more a result of the film having never been a visual stunner, Goodfellas does not really impress in its upgrade to 4k. No new extras, a transfer that looks strangely muted, colorwise, but featuring good detail. The movie itself is, of course, still a masterpiece.

Great film and classic acting! Picture quality is best youre gonna get.

Goodfellas is a masterpiece. All of the lead actors should have won a oscar. Marty best director and with out a doubt best picture. One of the greatest movies ever made wins 1 oscar? With that said the steelbook is awesome. If you have never seen goodfellas watch it! With two legendary actors and one of the greatest directors of all time. Marty has made a lot of amazing movies. But goodfellas is his masterpiece.

Setting aside this movie's legendary status as a high point for Scorsese, DeNiro and all involved, this is the best home video release of it yet. Warning, though: If you don't like film grain you'll have to get used to it here. This movie has a look consistent with its vintage and its director's intent. For some modern viewers that may be a problem and it's understandable. Me, I think it looks right. Quibbles, yeah, always. But nothing more. If you're on the fence, get off it before someone whacks you.

I was told to see this movie because it has great actors and story.

Good movie not recommended for kids due to language and violence.

This is a fantastic movie. Robert is the best part of the movie
