I love that my stereo is upstairs and can play my music on it and have my phone with me downstairs.

This is a wonderful thing -- it has turned my Bose unit into a bluetooth, and provides a clear and stable connection.

The Chromecast Audio is overall a great product, definitely something I would recommend to a friend, however, there is a slight hitch to the connection when going from a chrome browser tab to the unit. Making the initial connection between the tab and the Chromecast can take a couple of tries before it properly connects and outputs audio.

Sound quality is amazing ( if using optical cable), beats Bluetooth by far.

Purchased to use with a Home Automation System that allows speaking using a plug-in for chromecast. Was an easy way to add speech abilities since it's powered with USB and has a simple jack for audio. Music sounds good and I have used it for that also. No problems, works as designed.

Bought to pair with Google mini - works well playing music from Google or pandora

This is the perfect way to introduce wireless connectivity throughout the house. It's also a very capable device for audiophiles. Go digital out (mini TOSlink to TOSlink) into a better DAC for even better sound. Still worth it for the very handy stream integration.

Bought a few Chromecast audios to work with my Google Home. Now all of my home speakers are connected. Easy to setup and use, even my wife now plays music around the house. The sound quality of the signal is excellent. Simple and effective solution to total home audio

Very easy setup, and incredible fast to put streaming music in any speaker or audio equipment.

I've been considering getting one of these for a long time and now I wondered why I waited so long....I've hooked this up to my whole house audio system and can stream anything to any room in the house. Easy set up, takes up no room, great price, completely satisfying.

Works great to add Bluetooth speakers in home to Google home with voice control

I used this device to bring stream music to my stereo receiver. Had to buy a adapter cable (3.5 MM to Stereo RCA), to get it to work. After getting it configured, and some changes in ChromeCast to increase dynamic response, it works but... Streamed Music just does not have much dynamic range, run that music through a good receiver and amplifier, with good speakers - you can tell how much of the contents frequencies have been filtered out in the compression.

Does everything the first Chromecast does, but better. Better connection, easier to mount.

So easy to set up and use! I love using it for YouTube and Netflix. Couldn't be simpler.

I decided to get one of these devices and try it out. It works great! It's nice to be able to cast from anywhere in your house to it. I've even used it with Bluetooth speakers that I didn't want to have to be close enough to use. I would definitely recommend this.
