Great product, inexpensive for what it does
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is my third Chomecast. They are cheap enough that I have one on three different TV's. Seems to work well, however it would be nice if more programs supported. You can cast a webpage from the laptop, or even cast your phone's screen, but wish it was a little easier to do. Not bad, just make sure you know how to do it. Some issues with buffering, but I'm pretty sure this is my Cox Internet and not the Chomecast, just happens more often on there than other things.

Works great with new router speeds

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I liked the original, but sometimes getting that HDMI to connect to a TV in a bad placement like flush with the wall was a bit of an issue. Especially if you ever lost the Extension cable. I had a tv that required you to plug the HDMI connector flush with the back of the TV instead of the bottom or side of the TV. without the extension cable on the old chromecast you're out of luck, this one fixes that and also the device seems better crafted than the previous.

Cool Gadget

My favorite feature though is the screen mirror. This allows you to put your entire phone screen onto your TV, therefore any apps, games, browser etc, will be on the TV. Great for playing games and watching slide shows or videos. Lag is very minimal but there. Set up is very easy.
