Great casting app on any phone easy to use and hooks up easily

The original was great. Version 2 is even better. Easy to set up and use.

I have 3 of these, 2 video and 1 audio and they are great. Streaming is super simple and never glitches. My entire family can stream from their tablets, phones or laptops to multiple locations in the house---easy and well worth the $35.

We love this! It's super easy to set-up and easy to link all your device's too it. It doesn't disconnect(like others have) when streaming. Our only problem with it and why I gave 4 stars is that you constantly have to have it plugged in we thought it was rechargeable. Other then that it's great!

Chromecast works with several apps on your phone or tablet and allows you to broadcast them on your TV. This is an especially useful device if you don't have a smart TV. Your phone or tablet also acts as the remote as no separate remote comes with the device. Setup is easy and the streaming is good.

If you're looking for a full featured set top box, the Chromecast really isn't it. A Roku or Amazon FireTV or AppleTV would make more sense. But where this thing really shines is as an inexpensive way to display anything you want from your computer, tablet or cellphone onto your TV, wirelessly, via your wi-fi network. I bought a Chromecast to stick on an HDMI port on my office's conference room TV, so now anyone can give presentations from their laptops, right on the TV screen, as easily as clicking on the "Cast..." menu option in Google Chrome browser. (That gives them the option to display their whole computer screen on the TV, or just a specific browser tab.) There's no extra software required since Google builds what's needed right into every copy of Chrome. There's almost always special functionality in YouTube apps on your devices for Chromecast too, making it easy to display the video content full-screen on the TV while you still have controls for fast-forward, rewind, pause, etc. on the device itself.

Second Chrome Cast device for me. Very easy set up. Works as advertised.

The device and app are very user-friendly and very intuitive. I was out of the box and streaming within minutes.

This is a nice little cheap device for streaming to your TV, but only for those who are a little more on the tech savvy side of things. Beware if buying for someone who is not. This does not include a dedicated controller, so you need to use an app on your smart phone to control it. You can also use a computer/laptop, but this is not an ideal solution. If you or the person you are buying for does not have a smartphone they are comfortable with, skip buying this.

This is great for casting movies from your phone or computer. Only wish it was password protected.

Quality of videos is excellent. With the new app videos are easy to find.

Does just what it's suppose to do. Not too difficult to set up. Love it!
