Good way to add content to your TV

Really great if your TV does not have apps built in, or the selection is limited. Video quality is good, although will depend on your wifi.

Great Device to stream to

Everybody always has their phone on them and it doesn't require users to turn on a separate device to watch shows from your favorite app.

Amazing technology
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you're looking for a steaming device with a system of menus, that's not the Chromecast, but if you are looking for the freedom to play just about anything from your phone to your TV, this works amazingly well including websites. Also very low battery usage on my Samsung Galaxy S5.

I love being wireless, connecting my laptop or iPad to the larger television; and a number of my iPad apps cast from within. My only wish now is that my main television had 3 HDMI ports, for the DVD player, the Roku, & the Chromecast!
