I had thought about getting a Chromecast when they first came out but I had heard of issues people were having with them (getting hot, lagging, etc.), but when I heard this one announced with it's beefier specs I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did as this thing is awesome. I have had 0 problems with it whether streaming to a TV from my phone, pc, or a tablet. I love the fact that you don't need a separate remote and just use your phone or tablet instead, so that's one less remote to lose. It's very fast and responsive and I couldn't be happier that I decided to buy it.

I have 3 of these, one for each TV. The Chromecast makes it easy to connect any PC, Android tablet, or Android phone to a TV by casting the screen of the device to the TV with the Chromecast. Takes only a few minutes to setup. I can watch web content (YouTube, etc., web pages) on any TV in the house. Just make sure you have a stable signal to/from your wireless router. I use the included USB cable and AC adapter to power the Chromecasts so that they are always on and ready to go. If you use a powered USB port on the TV the Chromecast may turn off when you turn off the TV.

I love my Chromecast. Streams content flawless without any delay or lag. HD quality is great as well. Set up was quick and simple. Very happy with product.

This is much better than the first version, not to discredit the first version, but this one works much faster and is a lot easier to set up. Great buy!!!

Streaming movies and tv shows from my iPad is more enjoyable on the big screen. This product is so easy to install and even easier to use.

For the price this is a great streaming device. I also have a Google Home and Android phone and they all integrate well. Not difficult to install and have used to stream Netflix movies.

Does what it should. Easy set up just plug in and use. I found the app made it easy. I cast from many devices. Saves on cords and the mess they create.

Bought this for my mom and she loves it. You can unplug and install in other tvs also. Easy to use from your phone. Surprised it was less than the roku

I had the original for a couple months before trying this one out and this one is faster, slightly better picture and I hardly have any problems with it

I've been experiencing slow downloads with iTunes movies through Apple TV. It would take 10-15 minutes of buffering for a movie to play, and then there would be slow downs during play. I considered purchasing the new Apple TV with additional memory, but wondered if it was necessary to spend $200+ to stream movies. I purchased this item, and have been amazed with the speed of downloads from Google Play and Netflix. No more waiting and wondering if the movie or show is going to play. The Chromecast is fast, easy to set-up, and good value compared to Apple TV. I use my Chromebook to run the Chromecast App, but the app also works from Apple OS or Android.

Setup is easy. Cast from almost any device to your tv. Also pretty sure it's the least expensive streaming device as well. Roku, Apple tv all cost more.

This is a very simple piece of hardware that I overlooked for long time because it was from Google; and I'm wary of anything with their name on it. This little dongle was easy to set up, and allows you to send a video source from your iPhone or iPad to the TV that it's connected to. I was surprised that it works with iOS devices. It was good enough for the guest room where I didn't need the features of an Apple TV, but it gives guests something to play with.

this is a great buy if you don't have a smart tv. it makes it easy to access everything from your smart phone. gonna buy a couple for christmas presents

While outwardly the new Chromecast looks like it just does what it predecessor does, it is just a bit better at it. I purchased this to put into my family room system so that I could move an older Chromecast to a shop TV. The new one is as easy to set up and get "casting" as the original and after playing with it for a few weeks I can say it is quite a bit faster to connect than the old one. Since it just does what it says it does I can't really knock it, and the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I actually prefer the old "key" form rather than the new Dangling Disk. I had to do a bit of tucking so that it wasn't hanging strangely from my wall mounted TV, which has the HDMI ports fairly low.

This is a great device for casting and streaming from devices to TV. It was easy to set up and use overall. It was a little more complicated to cast items from my computer's hard drive, such as photos.

This item has excellent streaming quality, is easy to use, can connect any device to your tv via chrome apps, display your computer wirelessly, photots etc. Controlled by your Android or other devices.

This is one of the easiest devices to install and connect to. We were connected to the internet and playing music from our device in minutes. We've enjoyed watching movies and videos from our devices.

It's compact and easy to setup. Also not expensive. I bought a second one for another TV because i liked the first one. The only reason of not giving the five star rating is that it does not support WiFi's which require sign in from a Web site. I took it during my recent trip with a hope to enjoy shows from TV's in hotel rooms. But it did not set up if a hotel WiFi requires some sign up. I hope Google add a small browser application to be used for WiFi sign up.
