Chromecast combined with a Hulu (or similar) subscription is an economical replacement for cable tv. Save hundreds of dollars per year. Wifi connectivity is convenient, use at any tv location in your house, no cable or data outlet required.

Works very well. I used to watch Netflix on my iPad but this allows me to bring Netflix on to the big screen in any room in my house. I can operate it from my cell phone. And when not in use it displays random images from around the world that make the rooms very peaceful. This worked better than expected.

The google chrome cast is a neat casting option for your home. Setup was a little confusing on Andriod, but a little easier on an iPhone. Casting is a neat option for movies and YouTube.

I have had no problema with this since plugging it in. Works great from either of my husbands or my phone. I haven't learned everywhere i can stream from yet. My only complaint is that I am having difficultly streaming from my laptop. Is that even posssible? Maybe I just need to learn more on how to use it.

I use this for streaming vudu to a dumb tv. It works great. I will probably find other uses for it going forward. Can't beat the price as well.

The chrome cast was very easy to install. It is also very cheap. I didn't have a smart tv but wanted to use my tv as a same tv.

This is a quick solution if you have an old LCD without any smart tv feature. The device is connected easily via HDMI and plugged to AC outlet. The setup is really simple following screen steps as guideline. You have to use any mobile device to manage the content via cast apps, like YouTube, Google Photos or a Chrome browser and third parties like Netflix, etc. Other similar gadgets has its own control buy you need a mobile to operate the Chromecast. A guest mode is available so any visit connected to the same wifi can stream to it.

I've always been a fan of Google and their products and this product is no exception. the 1st gen of this product worked well and this version improves on that by adding faster streaming and connectivity. Thanks Google.

I purchased this so we didn't have to have wires hooked up from our phones/tablets to watch stuff on TV. It works great!! Watched a basketball game from my phone on it the other night, because it was not on TV. Love it!!

Bought it for my bedroom tv and it works great. Able to cast all my favorite videos. Best replacement for smart tv. Love it.

This is a great addition to my television experience! I have had the original Chromecast for over a year now, and the new version connects to my network better and is faster to load shows once casting has been initated. A great improvement!

I can watch vidoes and movies on my TV from my phone, tablet or laptop using Chromecast. Works like a champ. Do yourself a favor and get one.

I bought a second Chromecast after having too many problems with the recommended (and expensive) blu-ray player for Netflix and other streaming. I had better experience with my first Chromecast on one TV, so I bought another one to replace the blu-ray. It works better and no issues or connection problem like some people reviewed. I did upgrade my wifi and added a wifi extender, but it was time to do that anyway, can't hurt with all the devices connected to the network. The Chromecast is much less expensive and I think works better.

The Google Chromecast is the perfect device to help cut the cords from cable and satellite television content providers. Stream content from Netflix, Youtube, music and other providers. Easy to connect to your home network with the Google Home app installed on your phone. When not streaming Chromecast runs a slideshow screensaver of beautiful photographs from Google photo database. I wish Google would add an option to run the photographs slideshow while streaming musics from a personal device. Fantastic purchase.

Easy to set up and easy to use. Nice and small, easy to hide from view. No long wires. Connects easily to my Samsung Galaxy S8.

We have a couple of the older models so when we saw that there was a newer version we jumped at it. So far it works great. Less time buffering or waiting. Not bad for the price either.

Easy to set up. I simply plugged into my older TV set and in just a few minutes I was on YouTube. Picture quality is amazing.
