The only reason i did not rate it a 5 is because so many devices do not "Cast". Specifically chrome on ios. So you have to do multiple workaround on the ipad. But its not hard and once you have the workarond (basically a different browser ), it works like a charm. Plus the wifi receptors are superb.

Super simple and easy to use to cast from phone, iPad, tablet, laptop or computer!! Very inexpensive and works great!!

Not hard to set up, has no issue with Windows or Android devices, but has more restriction with Apple devices.

Near flawless, original streaming device. I'm glad to say that the new Chromecast is easily the best streaming device at its price point.

This is by far the best thing I got for my tv, I have it paired with my google home and it’s awesome, all I have to do is say what I want to watch and it’ll put it on the tv with out me pressing anything. Very happy

I own two, one in the bedroom and one in the living room. I have a smart tv, however the apps on the tv are slow and takes time to load. Streaming on the chrome cast is almost instant and hardly ever any buffering.

Great to make non-smart TV's smart. Only downfall is you either need your phone to control it or a Google Home. I kinda wish it had a remote like the Amazon Fire Stick.

My son got this for me because I needed something in order to stream Netflix and Hulu my WII had stopped working. It works well

I've had Chromecast for over a year now. I can stream from my pc, laptop and ipad; all without a problem. Easy to set up. I use it to stream movies, YouTube video and even my Internet page (e.g. Google search, Amazon, etc.). I just bought one for my millennial daughter...and she loves it! She no longer has to HDMI her laptop to her tv or watch movies on her ipad. At $35.00, you get way more value with this than other streaming devices. Pair it with Chromecast audio and you can stream music almost from any source.

I know it's only $35 (or less) but I wish this version is capable of connecting your device via Bluetooth so I don't have to use Wi-Fi. Also, the "cable" hanging the circular chromecast is not pretty; I like the 1st gen design better. Other than those, I am extremely happy about this Chromecast.

I originally had the first chromecast when it came out, and it was great. Being able to stream my phone or laptop to a TV was awesome. I only wished I could use my dual band router. That's where this came along. It only gets better!

Also brought on black Friday. Haven't hooked up yet but was told by my sister who also brought one said its better then the others that's out there. I like the chrome experience even with my other gadgets so this is a win win for me.

This is a nice product overall. Its a inexpensive way to make your tv smart.Its very compact and portable, you can take this product to places when you traveling. Lets say you stayed at hotel and you wanted to watch netflix or hulu, you just have to plug it to hdmi and you got yourself a smart tv.

This was an east set up and easy to use. I love being able to send streaming video from my iPhone and iPad. Well worth the price.

the hasbro games available make this a great little party game system. the apps need work but the replay value is pretty good. So for the price of a physical party game or two one gets something that can fill that void and much more

I've already had the 1st generation of the Chromecast and it works great. Reading reviews recommended not needing to upgrade but I did buy this for a friend and she loves it. I noticed it is faster at loading videos but not by much.

The chrome cast was easy to install and easy to use. This was a great product to use since we don’t have a smart TV.

Had the original chromecast. Needed another one so I went ahead and grabbed the new version. Will probably buy the audio version soon!

Very user friendly. Works as advertised cleanly and consistently. We used ours at work to setup a company slideshow that cycles on different monitors throughout the building. It's easy by sharing a photo in google photo. It displays the time and weather in the bottom right corner and then cycles through cool projects that we've done and cool shots of the staff. I can share a photo from my phone and it will pop right up! We just added our NY office so a cool way to tie everyone in the business together.

Great purchase, the ability to cast anything on your phone to your television is great. Add the built in apps and it's a great purchase
