This is the second chrome cast I bought for my second TV. It's easy to use. A must have if you want to stream from an android device.

I like this product and how easy it is to add smart access to tvs throughout the house tat werent equiped with it. Works perfect for a kitchen or a gym area where smaller or older tvs generally are. Only issue I have is not having the ability to use this without my smartphone or tablet. Id much prefer a system like Amazon Fire TV where i can independently control it. When my phone is dead it becomes impossible to use and even worse is when your phone dies while using it. Hope you enjoy what you are watching. Good product that I got on sale but I would spend my money on a fire tv stick if you want a more full fledge streaming experience.

Chromecast is a great product that works well and is inexpensive. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a basic way to stream.

I have the 1st chromecast version,but wanted to try the new version. Love it,it's even faster & better than the 1st one....great!!!!

this little thing out of the box is easy to use. jist plug it in and connect then your ready to go. I can screen cast anything on my phone to my tv with this. can login into any online streaming content and watch on my tv. love this little inexpensive thing. would recommend to a friend, in fact I talked my mother-in-law into getting one.

The Chromecast works great for me. I use in my office to stream Netflix and some of the network shows have missed during the week.

Chromecast is legit! Casting content from apps such as Nextflix, Amazon, and Pandora is fantastic. Setup took less than three minutes; simply connect the device to a HDMI port, plug it in, and download the Chromecast app to complete the setup process. Additionally, casting does not drain my tablet battery. Great product for the price paid.

super easy to set up, quality is good. to be honest, maybe i was expecting more of an interface like my apple tv or my fire tv (which i thought it would replace), but its more just an antenna for your device. one thing that im not sure i like but is better than the alternative is when the bandwidth gets low, it gets low res, BUT it doesnt pause to buffer like an apple tv or fire tv would, it just just smartly lowers it until its smooth. could be my device, but either way i think i appreciate that it keeps going, esp if youre not watching so much as playing something in the background.

I got this during Thanksgiving deal. It's pretty nice deal from Best Buy. Great casting and works really quickly.

Ridiculously easy set up. Works good with the pixel 2xl. No lag or issues so far. This device makes streaming online content a breeze. Happy with the purchase.

We have old model. It's time for new one and was looking for nice one and we get it. Price is very good . It's works very nice.

This was bought on sale for $25 and is being used in a vacation home where we've "cut the cable." I read reviews on the various streaming devices available and this one fit best with how we will use it. Neither of us is a techie, and the installation worked exactly as described in the instructions; we ran into no problem at all. Be sure to read the directions first, and download the Chromecast app on your tablet, phone, or computer to access the programs you want to watch. The streaming worked seamlessly, and we encountered no problems. You will need to download individual apps to access what you want to watch and then run the programs through the Chromecast icon that is visible on each app. We were using Chromecast on an iPad and I was pleased to know that once I start watching a program being streamed, I can then switch to another app on the iPad to check email FB, WWF, etc. I didn't think this would happen, and was pleasantly surprised that I can "multi-task" while watching a program. At this time, we have only downloaded free apps - I made a folder on my iPad to more easily access the apps I want to stream through Chromecast. I suspect it will take some time to learn what apps are available that we find useful. Our only disappointment is that we thought we could stream movies through our Amazon Prime account, but we cannot. I'll search blogs to see if this can be done without a lot of hassle. All in all, this was an inexpensive alternative to costly cable or a smart TV.

Allows me to watch free videos from the computer on the TV. You do need to switch the TV to a different HDMI input.

Pros: inexpensive, simple and works exactly as described. Projects whatever is on an Apple device. Cons: setup/pairing takes a few minutes. Don't give up. Not sure what the picture quality is compared to cable etc since it's wireless. Summary: great inexpensive way to watch YouTube, NetFlix or any content on large screen

Made work easy and portable by substituting HDMI cable. Easy to cast anything from phone and Laptop on the screen

The chromecast is really good for watching things from my phone but it has connection problems everyone once and a while but still some of the best 49 bucks I've ever spent.

For me, this is easily the best way to get web content on my TV. A wide variety of apps using an interface you're already familiar with, and you don't have to go through using the up, left ,left, left, *oops* right process to type in usernames and passwords. The only con is there isn't some kind of separate remote for when you want to quickly pause. Some apps implement a lock screen control to play/pause, but if they haven't, you're digging through the app to pause it. Problematic if the reason you're trying to pause is an incoming phone call. Otherwise, solid option.

It is way better, smaller and faster than the old model.

Great price for what I want. I just want to watch videos on some apps I have. Easy to install and easy to use.
