The Google Chromecast has been very useful. It works great with my smartphone and computer to stream content to my HDTV.

This works so well that I don't have any TV service. It plays anything from your phone or iPad perfectly in the TV!!

I needed to find a solution for transmitting a different presentations to three different projectors that didn't have all of the network wiring in place. I purchased three Chromecasts to handle the wireless connection to the projectors. I installed the Chromecast to the HDMI input of each LCD projector and used three different laptops to handle the online (YouTube) videos from our account. There was a little bit of fiddling around to get the right devices synced to each laptop, but once everything was set up, it worked flawlessly. It was a quick solution for a event that didn't have all the cabling installed.

My only gripe is I wish you could watch anything you can access online on your tv when it's connected, but still very happy with it and definitely recommend for those that watch a lot of netflix, hulu, amazon etc

Works perfectly. Very easy to hook up. Did not affect the picture quality which was a concern before the purchase.

Not having to plug the dongle right up against the TV makes it a lot easier with all the cables in the back of the set. A small but significant design change adding a small cable is an improvement from the original.

Possibly the best media purchase I have made since my TV. It has all the other apps my Samsung Smart TV doesn't carry, and I can also mirror my computer or phone. Best part, it's very affordable.

Its a good product, but I don't like the fact that you can only use certain apps with it. I have a movie app on my phone which is the main reason I bought this and that particular app isn't compatible with this device.

For some reason, my old chromecast did not want to cast some apps, when I bought the new one it had all the updates to cast all the apps from my phone. I find this, the chromecast a real convient product if you like to stream apps to your TV, when throwing a party, streaming Pandora or YouTube is realy nice. The new feature with the new chromecast which allows gest to stream without connecting to the wifi is also nice. So if you have a lot of media apps, this is the best product for you.

The Chromecast was easy to set up and use right out of the box. Casting to the TV is quick and seamless.

Very easy to setup and use. Does exactly as it is advertised to do. Works great with my iphone as well as andoid phone.

I really enjoy using this device to broadcast to my television. I take online classes and watching lectures on a small laptop doesn't cut it. Pop in the Chromecast and then I can watch in comfort on my television.

Works great with Google apps like play to cast on TV but when I try to cast other contents from phone it lags. Runs pretty smoothly other wise.

Great equipment. Lots of possibilities. Just be aware most of functionalities works only with internet access. To operate only over a network you will have to make some adjustments. But it's not a big issue at all!

Works well. Got this one to replace the Microsoft version that didn't work with my system. So far it's working just fine. It was cheaper than the Microsoft one also.

I avoid most techy stuff whenever possible, and I hate commercial TV. In fact, my idea of a "Smart TV" is one that doesn't turn on! Our sole source of home entertainment has been Netflix DVD's and, later, BLu-Ray movies for years. I finally got hip to streaming a few years ago, but didn't understand it or change my old ways until recently. Now I don't know how I ever lived without it. It was easy to set up and figuring out the casting app was almost automatic. Go Chromecast!

Set up was easy. Like that I can use my phone to stream content. Dislike that my options are so limited with this device. I prefer my roku because there are so many channels, including Amazon videos.

My built in Netflix app on my tv was giving me problems and the YouTube app was being discontinued so I bought this and couldn't be more happy. This works great and there is no buffering. Love it!

Had one and needed a second one for my kids TV. Chromecast works great for streaming Netflix and other shows. Easy to use.
