I love this . I bought it for the wife because she watch a lot of movies on her small computer screen. Now With this she can watch it on the big screen and she loves it.

Works incredible! Power Point Presentations from classes have an amazing HD images and great colors which make them easy to remember and understand better.

This does what it says although I wish it worked differently. I bought this on sale and it does work. i just wish the set up was more akin to what I think a Roku is like where it turns the tv into a smart tv instead of streaming things from another device. It does do that well though after the initial set up so if you are good with your phone or tablet it is not too much of a pain. I WISH BEST BUY WOULD HAVE THESE SET UP IN STORE SO THAT YOU COULD TRY THEM OUT TO SEE WHAT YOU PREFER. hint hint..

I bought this for my in laws after owning the first generation model, and it's fantastic for what they use it for (limited YouTube use and sharing pictures from the web)

Bought this in thanksgiving deal. Chromecast is best in casting your computer screen on to your TV. I waited for this as I have a dual band router and there were problems with the previous version detecting the 5 GHz band

First of all, this thing pays for itself with the special offers you get, such as $20 Google Play credit, and free Spotify/Google Play Music, and more! Streaming videos is the best part. I use it primarily to stream soccer from apps such as Bein Sports, ESPN, Fox Sports, etc. Being able to watch them on any TV is a great plus. Also, you can still use your phone while the video is streamed on the tv!

Very good product Worth the price.Best when compared with other casting devices

I previously have galaxy 5 and used Mhl adapter. After fpurchasing Note5, I found out that the mhl adapter would not work with mhl.. so I found this. Works perfectly....

Dependable and well made; I have an additional from casting my house and they always work well and it has not given me trouble in the last 2 years of use.

Had the old chromecast and loved it. However, the stick version didn't last. This one seems more sturdy and works great! Glad they changed the look of it!

A few years ago, I bought 3 Google Chromecast devices for myself and I absolutely love them. It's what I use to watch 95% of all television I watch. The device has been upgraded over the years and I bought this new one for my parents. It works perfectly and they love it. They're much more costly now than they were when I bought mine, but I still think they're worth the price.

This is my 4th Chromecast (3 Video, 1 Audio) and they are an excellent solution to transferring video from computers and mobile devices to any TV in the house. I have a home theater PC in the living room and often need to play back video files from that to a bedroom or office TV. Chrome's new functionality of being able to cast either a tab or the whole desktop makes this drop-dead easy to use.

The chromecast is very easy to use, affordable and fast as well

we love google chromecast. initially used in our home office. for years we used samsung chromecast for client presentations on the go. most had smart tv's in conference rooms. it was becoming dated looking, so opted to try chromecast as a replacement. actually use it quite a bit in office, completely replaced cable in that room. purchased this one for our daughters room to replace cable.

I dont like having to set it up every time I change tv's. But the convenience is great. I can't get Amazon prime videos but at least I can screen mirror to watch them.

Easy to install and use. Casting makes your favorite shows take on the big screen life.

I really enjoy this product. It works great and fast. It's also really easy to set up.

With this product I do not need an apple tv, an amazon firestick, or an hdmi cable to mirror my laptop to my tv. If you DO NOT have a smart tv, but you have a smart phone, GET THIS ITEM NOW! It will allow you to watch netflix, hulu, music, and any other app (other than games) from your phone onto your tv. This item is so good I've now bought 3, one for every room of my house. Get it, get it, get it!

I had no problems installing and configuring the Google Chromecast on my Android televisions (Sony and Samsung). A few months ago, my "smart" televisions supported casting directly with no need for an adapter. Then Google updated their software and the smart tv's did not update. By adding the Chromecast device I can now cast easily from supporting apps on my phone and or tablet. No muss, no fuss!

I like the Chromecast. When I get it to configure it, it works as expected. I loved the addition of Spotify to this version. My issues are: I'm a Linux user AND a Blackberry user. There is practically no way to set it up if you don't have Windows/Mac or Android/iPhone/Windows. And also, it does not work on places like hotels with a Login screen. If you got any of this, you need to get one of the compatible devices to set it up, and for solving the hotel logins issue you need an extra router that can act as the "device in the middle" so you authenticate the second router "connection" with other device connected to it.
