This does what it says although I wish it worked differently. I bought this on sale and it does work. i just wish the set up was more akin to what I think a Roku is like where it turns the tv into a smart tv instead of streaming things from another device. It does do that well though after the initial set up so if you are good with your phone or tablet it is not too much of a pain. I WISH BEST BUY WOULD HAVE THESE SET UP IN STORE SO THAT YOU COULD TRY THEM OUT TO SEE WHAT YOU PREFER. hint hint..

My Chromecast works great. Now I can watch my team's college basketball games in HD on my TV when they are on ESPN3 or SECN+.

The chromecast works better than the Samsung TV on video streaming. If you mirror your smart phone that is streaming something then it sometimes comes out jerky. But that is hardly ever necessary. Overall I am very satisfied.

I purchased this on the recommendation of the Best Buy employee after my Roku had died and I love it. It's very easy to use and my son can watch just about anything on it.

we love google chromecast. initially used in our home office. for years we used samsung chromecast for client presentations on the go. most had smart tv's in conference rooms. it was becoming dated looking, so opted to try chromecast as a replacement. actually use it quite a bit in office, completely replaced cable in that room. purchased this one for our daughters room to replace cable.

I had an original Chromecast and received the updated model for Christmas. This is a big improvement from the original and the multiple antennas eliminate most buffering.

This is my 4th Chromecast (3 Video, 1 Audio) and they are an excellent solution to transferring video from computers and mobile devices to any TV in the house. I have a home theater PC in the living room and often need to play back video files from that to a bedroom or office TV. Chrome's new functionality of being able to cast either a tab or the whole desktop makes this drop-dead easy to use.

I use it primarily to stream soccer from apps such as Bein Sports, ESPN, Fox Sports, etc. Being able to watch them on any TV is a great plus. Also, you can still use your phone while the video is streamed on the tv!

Just bought this so I can try it with google mini. So far so good. But just dont know how to turn my tv when I tell googl mini to turn a certain channel.

I love this . I bought it for the wife because she watch a lot of movies on her small computer screen. Now With this she can watch it on the big screen and she loves it.

First off, I really love this pruduct its great if you Dont have a smart TV because all those apps are on the chromecast. The only issue I have with it is the mirror screen feature. Basically it works when it wants to work.
