Google Chrome is just the thing to connect all electronics in your house hold and enjoy them to the fullest extent. Makes a wonderful gift and it's affordable.

I find this device really helpful since I don’t have a smart tv, this is really good device for streaming whatever you like on your tv wirelessly

Great for watching videos ... even more fun when the teens have a few friends over. They can all separately queue up videos in a playlist for their own phones.

I bought this for my mom so she didn't have to bring the roku that I got her up and down the stairs every time she wanted to use it. Helped her set it up and messed around with it a little. I ended up really liking it and probably gonna get one. Really easy interface. She uses an iPad and I was using my iPhone. Worked fine. Good 1080p picture too. But I guess that depends on your isp.

For the most part it works fine. At times it acts up and you have to reset or reboot both it and whatever device you are casting from. Otherwise am pleased with it

You just connect it, get the google home app on your phone, finish setup, and thats it. You can stream anything on your phone you want played on the big screen and if you have a google home you can pair it with the chromecast and tell it to play shows, movies, etc from netflix, youtube, or hulu so long as you have a subscription to any of those that it applies to.

Easiest way to stream video apps to your tv. Also the setup is really easy when using the Google Home app

This is an excellent device I watch all my YouTube videos and conferences with the same -excellent value for price .I debated b/w this between Amazon fire stick and chrome cost but finally settled for Chromecast

This makes your not smart tv a smart tv. It also has screen mirroring. The great thing is I can control it from my phone and still use my phone.

Although there are other ways to cast mobile screen media to your tv, this is by far the easiest method we have tried. There are other apps that enable this function, but the Chromecast is so much easier. Just plug it into your tv, download your app, and cast away. It is so much fun to look at pictures and videos with family members, all while enjoying them on the big screen tv.

I use it in my home, and it works perfectly. Broadcast television is great, but streaming is the future, and Google's Chromecast is one of the easiest ways of getting video streams onto your existing non-smart TV. The puck plugs into an HDMI port on the rear of your TV, is powered by micro-USB, and is controlled by your existing smart device. Simply open up a compatible app, and tap the 'Cast' button to immediately see content streamed to the big screen.

Best picture quality and great price will be buying another one.

Love the google chromecast..super easy to use...i thought it was completely wireless but you do have to plug it into an outlet but no biggie..much easier then using my laptop with a hdmi cord. Theres also a few different chromecast apps you can download to actually surf the internet and cast from there instead of just using the apps designed for it..i really love it and its easy to use!

I picked up one of these, hooked it up tot he TV and can very easily cast video/movies/tv from my phone. Picked up several more for the rest of the TVs in the house. Other users in the house are also able to use their phones to cast as well. Did not require separate configurations, they were just able to view and cast to all devices on our shared network. Great product!

Definitely a major upgrade to the 1st gen. WIFI is smoother and apps load way faster with the upgraded spec. my go to stream device for all units in the house.
