Much faster than first generation. Now I can cast my full HD videos no problem

Its better with android phone than iphone because it let's you cast movies from different websites as iPhone doesn't give you the cast option on the movie

Love this product. Easy to connect, streams everything without any issue.

The Chromecast is a no-brainer purchase if you have a Google Home or use many Google services. It is simple as possible - just go into any Chromecast-enabled app on your phone or tablet and "cast" it to the TV. The Chromecast then takes over the streaming duties and the phone or tablet can be used as a remote control for the playback. The only downside is that it does not come with a remote, which would be nice at times (like when the phone needs charging).

Has a different look. I have not researched the difference between this new model and the original. Stream from your devices, youtube and many other apps.

This version runs a lot faster and less laggy than the original chromecast.

I am happy to say the 2nd Chromecast connects faster with less buffering. I might get another because I have an original one that tends to buffer too much.

I have this on my 1080p tv, so there wasn't a need for the 4k version. Still a great product and works super well with my Google Home mini.

One thing I like about this is watching twitch on TV. Or any other sites like YouTube Netflix etc while I lie in bed. The thing about this is your phone is the remote control so you don't need to remember where you put your remote control. If you have Google home or your phone, you can also voice activate it to turn on or off ;)

Chromecast is a one trick pony. But it does that one trick so well. It does screen casting better than any other streaming device, which is what it's for.

Use this thing everyday. Works great and for the price you can't beat it.

As a college student, this works wonders. I can put Netflix on my tv while doing homework and it wouldn't affect either. Where has this been my whole life?

This Chromecast product works seamlessly and very well to play YouTube videos from our cell phones and tablet devices. It has revolutionized our TV and DVD viewing experience. The price was low from WalMart but the performance is very high. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone waning to take their TV and video viewing to the next level of enjoyment.

We have one of the older ones and the USB broke so I'm glad to see they improved and made it differently now.

It's a great device but the dangling design is somewhat annoying and bumping the wall when you move it near the wall. Otherwise more than a handful of apps support the casting and hence very useful for me.

works great with google home, just ask google home to cast youtube or Netflix video or photos stored in google to chrome cast connected tv

Great Inexpensive streaming device. I bought it for one reason.....to be able to stream HBO Now to my television. I have a smart TV that doesn't have the HBO Now or HBO Go apps on it. Bummer. Anyway, for $35.00 this was a perfect solution. Plug it in, follow the onscreen steps, good to go. Works great.
