I gave this Chromecast 4 stars even though it works perfectly. I noticed once I started using it that there are some more prominent apps that you can't access with it. So I ended up purchasing a Roku stick in addition to the Chromecast. Before buying make sure the content you hope to view is carried by Chromecast. Hopefully they'll be licensed to carry more apps in the future.

This is the second Chromecast I have used and I am impressed with the flexibility and the quality of the content that is cast. More than worth the money!

We have an older Toshiba flat screen TV that was not "smart". The chromecast is a cheap and easy to use fix, simply plug it in and use the App on your cell phone to access Netflix and other streaming videos. One note, as far as I know this is not compatible with Amazon prime. We live in a rural area and don't have the fastest internet, but have not had any trouble so far.

Google Chrome cast was the best thing I bought all year long! I can stream movies, tv shows and etc on my tv. It's very easy to use and I'm I highly recommended it to anyone. Just buy this and cancel your tv subscription and get Hulu , Netflix or whatever app there is, will save you a ton of money. Streaming off my phone or iPad is very easy and fast. Loving it!

The Chromecast is way better than the apple tv. You can cast movies you search online. Im on it all the time.

Using Chromecast for streaming SlingTV, Youtube, Netflix and others web videos. Nice feature compared to Apple TV is once it starts streaming through Chromecast you can be free from your device, while on apple TV I noticed if I closed the app on my phone it stops streaming. You can stream from a chrome browser webpage if you install the cast extension.

If your TV is mounted on the wall, Purchase some Velcro and apply to the product and the back of your. This way it not just hanging there.

We bought this to replace our old Roku box and are so happy that we did. It also syncs to our google home, which is the best feature ever!

I have the first generation Chromecast but decided to get the second generation as well. It works well and it supports 5 gigahertz as well

If you have bought a Google Home, then you definitely need this. I only paid 30 bucks for just the original chrome cast. I love it. I can stream anything from my phone, tablet or any smart device or computer and cast it to any of my HDTVS that have a google chromecast on it. I honestly could not live without mine.. I love Bestbuys great prices and every day low deals..

This is a really easy way to stream stuff from all types of devices (iPhone, iPad, desktop, laptop, pretty much anything that can open a chrome browser, youtube, or a chrome cast-enabled app). Was going to buy AV adapter for newer apple devices with lightning input but this is a much easier and cheaper solution. Also much easier than using Roku if it suits your needs.

Kudos to Google for this awesome piece of hardwre with amazing software! Love it now I can keep up with all my favorite shows on the big screen. Love It!

Good for cast, quite fast, performant, and easy to use. One disadvantage is Chrome mobile does not support cast.

Works well. Quick way to play something. I've had no issues.

I wish it was UHD 4K capable, other wise it just do the same thing as my XBOX or PS4 can do along with my Android smart phone. Not much advantage that make me wants to keep this product.

We have friends that rented a "crash pad" in the city. We had great success with Chromecast so we gave it to them so they didn't need to get a full cable subscription. They were excited to use Chromecast.

I love it.It makes watching tv great.I can use my chromcast to view over hundreds of movies, and my grandkids love it to watch kids shows show and more.

I like my Amazon firestick TV better. I like controlling with the remote better than with cell, tablet or laptop. Need to explore more, but so far I find more Free content from fire TV, even without Prime!

The picture is great and runs smooth, I would get another one for outside.
