I was so bored before I got my chromecast now I can listen to music watch movies watch YouTube on my TV from my phone its cool and fun

Super easy to use, works flawlessly and good picture/sound quality.

I have a chrome cast on every TV in and out of our home, we love them. However my most recent purchase was a replacement for our back porch TV. I think the Arizona heat was to much for the device.

I am 60 years old. I am NOT a native to technology. But once "installed" - plugged in, this has been one of the best purchases I have ever made. With just a few clicks I can stream anything from my computer to my SMART TV and watch hundreds of things on the internet withOUT cable TV, Dish or anything else. I adore it! And all for a ONE TIME price of about $35!!!!

Amazing picture quality, casts without any lag in picture and sound.

I got this device for my sister in South America. I tried it in US first. Have no complains. My sister has been watching her favorite shows as well.

Works well with my google home and my phone so I'm able to announce what I want to watch and it streams directly there. Great device.

We bought this when dropping traditional cable, we wanted something that could stream from both our cell phones and PC seamlessly, setup was easy and we've been happy with the purchase, sometimes it drops off connection to our wifi and gives a blue screen telling you to reconnect but restarting the chromecast through the app sorts that out

I like the functionality, and it works well, but only where there are "cast" options in your apps which are limited. However,, in comparison to Apple TV, and particularly when you already have a "smart" TV, the Chromecast is much more economical just for the purpose or casting to your TV. Casting from the PC screen also works but you must do controls from there too (although Chrome Remote Desktop can be used to operate your PC desktop from your phone),

Chromecast is great, but it's important to understand what it does and does not do. It essentially does two things: (1) it plays media, triggered by another device (laptop, iPhone, Android tablet, etc.) and (2) it mirrors a Chrome browser session. What's important to understand is that, if you're in YouTube app on your phone and send a video to Chromecast, it doesn't play the video through your phone; rather, it takes a command from your phone, pulls up YouTube, and plays the video. That means that both your phone and the Chromecast need to have access to the Internet. Alternatively, you can use the mirroring feature through a browser window, in which case, only your casting device requires access to the Internet. This is important to understand when traveling on guest networks and when considering Chromecast for cord-cutting. Essentially, what Chromecast does is turn a dumb TV or a monitor into a smart TV. As more TVs come with Fire, Roku, Google, etc. built-in, a Chromecast will only be needed if you prefer the Google interface over what comes built-in. Still technologically amazing how much Google does with a tiny USB-powered device.

This the second one I purchased. This small device is very convenient and the list of surporting app is large and continuing to grow.

We purchased this s product for our Air BNB. Our clients understand instructions on its use very easily and we have had no complaints.

This product does a great job as a substitute to having cable subscription. It allows me to watch virtually anything I want. The Siri remote is surprisingly easy to use and it is definitely easier than typing on-screen. I didn't think it'd let me type using my voice considering that I have speech impediment and even then, it is able to type what I am saying.

Great item ! Enjoyed streaming my shows and movies, very easy to set up

It works fast seamlessly with most of the TVs. It supports YouTube, NetFlix FandangoNow and most other programs. Also take note that it does not support Amazon Prime Streaming. Also I think there are limited capabilities with SlingTV as well. Product is fast and good where it work, but not compatibility with Amazon prime doesn't make favorite choice for me.

I have old chormecast, but this looks nicer, still not sure what is the differences but I'm ok with this

In my office, I have the need to stream content for training, customer presentations, etc. This particular unit is the 3rd in the office. I have had nothing but great results with this product, which is why I continue to buy additional units as the need arises. I also recommend it to friends who are looking for a way to take full advantage of their HD TVs.
