I purchased looking for wireless display capability. I was surprised when it also turned out to be a media streaming device. There was a warning that the connection to my device was not a good one and I am not certain if I will be able to improve the connection. I am looking forward to using it.

My purchase of the Comcast was intended to go with my google home device. It turned out that I really didn't understand the chrome cast.

I have connected it to my HDTV and now I can cast anything from my laptop browser onto the TV.

Connects with Google Home and my phone easily. Love using it to watch videos, listen to music.

Love my new Chromecast. I have been a Chromecast user since the original came out. I picked this one up for my new TV even though it is a smart TV. The Chromecast makes it so much easier to stream movies from my tablet and watch YouTube videos on my TV. I have one on every TV in my house.

I loved the original Google device and this upgrade doesn't disappoint. My only wish was the original smaller design was nice and hidden behind the TV.

I bought the Chromecast to stream my iPhone onto my tv. It works great for YouTube and other apps that allow you to use the Chromecast. Unfortunately, not all of my apps can be used with the Chromecast. Great product but make sure the apps you want to use the Chromecast with allow you to do so.

I bought this to cast movies to my TV from the Google Play Movies app. Works great. I can use my phone as a remote to start, stop, rewind, skip forward, skip back the movie that's playing. A bonus feature is that I can still use my phone to do other things while the movie is being casted to my TV, like surfing the internet to look something up.

It works pretty well we are still learning to use it a have a few hiccups getting our computers to link on occasion. All in all it was a good purchase!

I just cannot get enough of Google's Chromecast. Best investment I've made in streaming video.

you get what you get got, if your tv is really that old it will work for you but if you got a smart tv is not gonna make any difference

I had the previous generation Chromecast and love the ability to use the 5GHz setting with my router. Plus 1080p looks much better than the 720p of the previous generation. I have an iPhone and Android tablet and the ability to use the Chromecast with both devices (unlike AppleTV) was what sold me.

Anyone with Netflix account and have no other way to wtch shows/movies other than a smart phone, tablet, or computer, I highly recommend the google chromecast to watch on your TV. It's easy to use and set up. The customer service is easy to work with if need hekp with the initial set up.

Chromecast works very well for my home. No issues noticed with Wifi or buffering. Good deal for the price..

I am uncertain of what to say other than perform perfectly and exactly as stated. Would have been 5 stars if the low voltage power cord was 12 cents more expensive (a couple of feet). Really, cheap out on the cheapest detail, Guess I am lucky they even supplied it. Given how well the remainder of the purchase was, this seems like a poorly concieved cost savings.

Bought this in order to be able to stream stuff from my computer or phone, and it performs very well. It seems to load current data onto the Chromecast, so the stream won't interrupt if you reboot your phone. It's also relatively versatile, given the host of apps available on the chrome store.

Despite the fact that the only difference in price was the difference in color (which is something I still don't understand), the headset works great.

The fact that you can stream videos or movies from the phone and go about using other apps without worrying about the video failing to stream is a plus and a feature the chrome cast has over the Apple TV, I do think Apple corrected this with Airplay 2 though.
