To me was a little bit confusing to install on to my TV set. I just watched on utube on how to install on Chromecast. However I do recommend the Chromecast for cell/laptop/tablets screen to tv site. Chromecast does not have extra channels that you can add like roku does.

It great especially for phone mirroring it is necessary if you do not have a Samsung tv

I have a vizio in my bedroom so it automatically turns my TV on and plays show or app I want it on. I really like chromecast I have one in every room. Same for my parents and their house, they have one for every TV in the house. Compatibility across many apps.

Amazing value for your money. Does everything you need at a fraction of the cost of other streamers.

Very good and easy to use. My wife and I will often Cast from our ipads or phones to the tv. Has done everything we have needed it to do so far. Only issue I am having, is when I stop casting, sometimes my tv volume does not work. I need to turn off my tv and turn back and on the volume returns. No idea what is causing this to happen?

I purchased the Chromecast based on some previous experience with an earlier generation of the product. Brought it home, hooked it up and it worked without a hitch. I highly recommend the product as an inexpensive way to share streaming content from YouTube, etc. with your family.

It's Google, of course it's good. However, if you already have a smart tv you don't really need it.

This is replacing my first generation chrome cast. Have been happy with my chrome cast.

this is my 3rd chromecast and its the perfect compliment to any TV. Most smart features on TVs are terrible and this unit gives you better control and options straight from your phone. Works casting from iPhone or Android, so highly recommended!

The Google Chromecast has let me steam to my TV easily with no downside that I can find.

Streaming is much faster than last model. OMG! I would definitely buy again and again. Its only $30

Love this device. My only complaint is no analog audio out, and wish I could cast my entire computer display and not just the Chrome browser.

IT's so easy and convenient to use. Literally plug it in and sync it to WiFi and you are good to go!

Use mine in my car with hotspot to stream on my automotive screens. Works like a champ.

Got this item for free when getting the Pixel. All I got to say I was surprised how well this device works with your phone and TV. Casting a video doesn't take long (~3-5 sec) and quality is amazing. Since you carry your phone around, you'll never lose your controller (phone).

To preface, I have Apple products, so this is not my product of choice for that reason. However, Chromecast is a decent alternative to Apple TV but does not have the ease and intuitiveness of its Apple counterpart. Also, the fact that you have to download the app and cannot actual mirror your phone(only certain apps) just isnt very helpful. If you want to stream certain apps or use the Chrome browser, this is a fine product.
